Hi everyone hope you've had good weeks up to this point and will be looking forward to the
Celtic game tonight to probably see a few young guns in action.
But what has caught my eye today is a few journalists predicting Arsenal to be in action on
transfer deadline day and throughout the week prior to it, I'll explain:
The Dail Mirror's Football Spy
From his insider knowledge or it could be what he just made up he is predicting 2 Arsenal moves
in the last week of the transfer window:
Blaise Matuidi
This story has ran for ages and you all know who he is by now so I won't bother with huge
details but he's a Defenesive Midfielder with a great talent.
This is the only new transfer gossip of the day from the press apart from the obvious Cesc
Fabregas measures which says Barca, Chelsea and Real are lining up a £50 million bid. We won't
sell, well not yet anyway.
Anyway more on Matuidi of St Etienne:
Career
Matuidi was born in Toulouse, to Angolan parents.
Tony Adams seems to have lost his mind.
First, he tells the world that, basically, he's going to be the next coach for Celtic. As my
regular reader knows, I trumpeted this move as a real chance for the beleaguered former Arsenal
great to get a shot at real management but given some further revelations I'm not sure how fit he
is any more.
Arsene Wenger has made a fresh move for St Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi after fearing Cesc
Fabregas is facing an injury lay-off.
Arsenal captain Fabregas, 22, faces a race to be fit for Saturday's trip to Manchester United
and could be out for up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.
Hi Insiders, what with the International break there is not alot happening on the news front
today. Couple of things through firstly Arsenalinsider has moved to it's new home alongside our
other sites in the "Insider" brand. You can still find us at www.arsenalinsider.com and now also
at: http://arsenal.
Morning, and we'll start with CEO Ivan Gazidis who says Arsenal must ... oh, wait. No need.
Let's move instead to Felipe Melo who, it seems, has signed for Juventus. This comes after yet
more waffle from Fiorentina who spoke again of our interest and the deal seemingly on offer.
Pantalones Calzone, the Fiorentina Sporting and Folded Over Pizza director, said:
Wenger wants to talk to me.
Not much going on this weekend, really, but there are a couple new rumors floating around.
First, we're reportedly interested in St. Etienne midfielder Blaise Matuidi. He's just 22, and
relatively small (5′9), but is apparently a defensive midfielder, which is what we're in the
market for.
Hello everyone. Not a lot happening in the world of Arsenal today but I'm posting anyway. I'm
pretty much starving by the way, but that does tend to happen at lunch time. I'll probably make
some coffee and have a microwave pizza, because that's clearly a good combo.First off today is
Arsenal have been linked with St.

On September 5, 2009, the two nations will meet with first place at stake at St. Jakob-Park in
Basel. If Switzerland takes three points here as the nation did in Greece, then the Swiss will be
in the driver's seat for the 2010 World Cup hosted in South Africa. The winner of Group 2 is
guaranteed a slot in the tournament field.
Morning, today's the day we find out about Cesc's injury with Arsene Wenger already admitting
the captain is unlikely to play against Celtic tomorrow night.
The Mail is reporting that he's going to be out for three weeks, which would see him miss the
United game, but we'll have to just wait and see.
