Tractor Boy makes gesture to jailed Luke McCormick Ipswich Town's David Norris has found himself in
trouble with the club after celebrating his goal against Blackpool with an alleged handcuff

As QPR announced late yesterday, the Gorkss "saga" - ongoing since late May or early
June - may be just about over. Although until Blackpool and QPR announce the deals on their
official sites...! Kaspars Gorkss is moving to QPR...Danny Nardiello and Zesh Rehman are moving to
Blackpool (the Rehman deal is a six-month loan, with Blackpool option to sign permanently).

Blackpool Gazette - League may block Gorkss move
The Football League League could block Kaspars Gorkss' move to Queens Park Rangers and punish the
London club further if they are found guilty of 'tapping up' the Seasiders defender.

Blackpool's Chairman continues to express his deep discontent with Queens Park Rangers over the
Gorkss proposed transfer. The football authorities have yet to issue any ruling re the Blackpool
complaint. And obviously every club should follow every rule. But even IF, hypothetically, they
were to rule that QPR had done something they shouldn't have done - the reaction of Blackpool seems
very "strong.

Blackpool are fuming over QPR's approaches to their Latvian defender Kaspar Gorkss, but today it
has been announced in the Daily Mirror that he has signed with the R's, having invoked a
£250,000 escape clause in his contract.

The future of Kaspars Gorkss is still up in the air, with his drawn out move to QPR taking a new

The defender is still a Blackpool player but he isn't on the tour of Latvia and is odds on to be

Kilmarnock by Blackpool, ahead of a proposed move tomorrow.

an argument with Flavio Briatore, the club's Italian co-owner.
There were a few high-flying Championship sides that were knocked out of the Carling Cup by
lower League opposition last night.
Charlton were dumped out by Yeovil 1-0, Barnsley were beaten by Crewe 2-0, Luton beat
Plymouth 2-0, Blackpool lost at Macclesfield 2-0, Norwich lost at MK Dons 1-0 and Notts Co beat
Doncaster Rovers 1-0.
