Blackburn Rovers has made a late decision and has decided to sign a contract with Umbro instead of Lonsdale for their 2007/2008 football kit.
The move to Umbro is unusual because Rovers fans, in the latter half of last season, voted on new designs from Lonsdale (see story here).
While Umbro has been signing contracts with a significant number of clubs this summer and is enjoying quite a resurgence, the fact is that nearly all of the designs follow the same Umbro templates.
