McLeish admitted that he was interested in Fulham striker Bobby
Zamora and talked to the club privately to see if he could sign him. McLeish said,
"I never went back in for him officially, for Bobby .
Last week Birmingham had agreed to a deal with Wigan Athletic
for Charles N'Zogbia. However Birmingham were unable to agree to a personal deal
with N'Zogbia due to his wage demands and decided to walk away. Did Birmingham do the right thing
or should they have continued to negotiate with N'Zogbia.

summer of 2013.
