another bid for Ryan Babel that was once again rejected by
Liverpool.

Birmingham are preparing to make a third bid for Liverpool
footballer Ryan Babel after having £9million and £10million bids rejected.
According to James Nursey at MirrorFootball, Birmingham boss Alex
McLeish admitted that the club has no chance of permanently signing Manchester
City goalkeeper Joe Hart this month. McLeish said,
"There is no chance of us signing him in January .
UPDATE: According to Francisco Acedo at Sky Sports News,
Birmingham have agreed to a deal with Sporting Gijon for
Michel. The deal is thought to be worth £2.9million and Sporting Gijon will
receive 10% of Michel's transfer fee if he is sold in the future.

Schalke 04 striker Kevin Kuranyi and are prepared to make a bid
of £3.5million. The signing of Kuranyi would most likely lead to the departure of Kenwyne

that Birmingham and Leicester City are both interested in his

UPDATE: According to Fulham's official website, Fulham have
completed the signing of AZ Alkmaar striker Moussa Dembele for an
undisclosed fee. Dembele signed a three-year deal with the club.
August 6th 2010: According to Christopher Lepkowski at the Birmingham Mail,
West Bromwich are also interested in Moussa Dembele and have held
talks with his agent.
UPDATE: According to Birmingham's official website, Birmingham
have completed the signing of winger Jean Beausejour for an undisclosed fee.
Beausejour signed a four-year deal with the club.
August 31st, 2010 According to the Birmingham Mail, Birmingham
have agreed to a deal with Club America for winger Jean
Beausejour.

McLeish admitted that he was interested in Fulham striker Bobby
Zamora and talked to the club privately to see if he could sign him. McLeish said,
"I never went back in for him officially, for Bobby .

Birmingham are on the brink of signing Sporting Gijon midfielder
Michel despite recent reports that he was not for sale.

striker Kevin Kuranyi but the player turned down the move.
Birmingham and Sunderland had been linked with Kuranyi the
past few months.

sign defender Nathaniel Clyne.
