Reporters yesterday were able to "ask the question of the week," getting a few words in with Don Garber about the rumors of a potential sale of the team by Red Bull.

"This isn't even a story," Garber said. "It's not for sale. It's one of those things that comes out; some guy in his pajamas sitting in his kitchen and says 'What kind of story can I write before they have a big announcement?

He is one goal from tying the Red Bulls all time regular season scoring record. He is the owner of the best goals to games ratio of any long term player in franchise history. He practically took the team on his back last season and dragged them just shy of the finishing line in the MLS Cup. To say that Angel will rank as one of the greatest Metro Bulls ever is an understatement.

The story goes something like this:

Dave Van den Bergh was never going to be a Red Bull, due to some family issues he was having. Dallas, Texas is the home of his wifes family and friends, and so, the issue seemed logical; no matter what Red Bull could do, DvB was as good as gone at the conclusion of the 2008 campaign.
