Barcelona is coming off a big win over Real Madrid, but in order for the club to maintain its
first place position, it will have to defeat Xerez in one of many matches being played on
Wednesday.
Some games are already underway, including Tim Howard and Everton's UEFA Champions League match
vs.
City beating EPL toppers Chelsea has to be the result of the weekend.
Emmanuel Adebayor was responsible for a goal for both teams in the first half (he had an own goal
if anyone was confused by that) and Carlos Tevez had a beauty of a free-kick goal for the
winner.
The big highlight came when Shay Given saved a Frank Lampard at the end to seal it.
Sporting get a big win after back to back losses in the Portuguese League and Europa League.
Sporting got a marker by Carlos Saleiro in the 35th minute and it was all they needed as they hung
on for the 1-0 victory over Naval. The victory moves Sporting into fourth place for the time being
as Week 14 continues tomorrow.

German sausage competition but I think they could be due a huge comedown soon. In fact it could be
sooner than they think.

Arsenal to win bad.
Our title hopes were today nailed to the mast, raised high and are proudly flying as you read
this. An emphatic three nil win puts us well and truly back in the title race while at the same
time it puts Villa firmly back in their place. This was a big win but yesterday's strong Arsenal
performance will be remembered, above all, for the twenty eight minute master class given by our
Captain in the second half.
