In another life England goalkeeper Joe Hart would be a Scottish women's rugby
international. I see him as a burly, red-cheeked forward, and there's every chance he'd be related
to Colin Hendry Jo McHart, his sports-mad niece, perhaps?

Hi folks – you well? I'm back after a long weekend away in Cork for a friend's wedding, during
which time I consumed too much Guinness and sneaked into a pub to watch Sunday's big game the
All-Ireland football final, in which Cork overcame a dismal first-half display to roar back and
beat Down by the narrowest of margins.
Rafa is escorting JPA to the big gameIt's Wednesday. The epic showdown of East vs. West, The Big
Apple vs. La-La Land, Wall St. v. Hollywood, etc., etc., so on and so forth, is just two days away.
With fifty-ish something hours to go, let's take a look at how the hype machine is fairing, shall
we?
Oof.
Rangers up! Lets test the young boys!
United play Rangers in a weeks' time, with the battle of Britain tag looming large. Even though
there is an assumed gap between the leagues the Old Firm in general have put on a good showing,
against English sides. This is an ideal time to test some of our younger players in what will be
a low risk big game for them.
Sigi, what's going on? So I see we will meet each other in the US Open Cup final. And you are
doing your typical sort of scheduling to leave things to your advantage.
Well, that Chivas de Guadalajara match is important Robert. We gave them our word.
Oh, Sigi, now you want to talk about giving your word?
So just over 24 hours after Fabio Capello expected Theo to be out for just under two
weeks, he returns home to magically increase the duration of the injury three-fold, at
least with the confirmation from Arsenal that Theo Walcott will probably be out for six
weeks.
Live in the US on FSC at 11am ET.

Halsey's one of the few PL refs I actually like.
So today we face Bolton as proper football returns I'd say I am looking forward to the game but
by the time I actually get to watch it early on Sunday morning the score will somehow have filtered
down to me, spoiling it somewhat.
Despite what some people say, it is not going to be the easiest game we have ever faced at the
Emirates.
Ryan Giggs is looking forward to this weekend's game against Liverpool.
Following some disappointing results in the league and in Europe, Giggs is expecting the
atmosphere of Sunday to get the lads going.
"The crowd will light up," said Giggs. "It's usually a quick game and it's usually
a ferocious game, so hopefully it's the kind of game that sets us back on the winning
trail.
Following on from last week's facts on Blackpool I have decided to take a slightly different
approach to this week's preview of the trip to Goodison Park. I am now going to try to incorporate
more facts relating to this history between the two clubs as well as facts which relate to the big
game along with the [.
Liverpool defender Paul Konchesky has pleaded with referee Howard Webb to keep his head cool as
they clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The left-back, a summer signing from Fulham, has also told Webb to appreciate that tackles will
without doubt be flying in as both teams will want to record an important victory over their fierce
rivals.
After watching the dramatic Manchester United v Liverpool game, my Sunday afternoon Premier League
viewing was completed by watching Chelsea cruise past Blackpool. During the later of the games the
following comment from my Dad got me thinking.
"Chelsea would put five or six past United or Liverpool at the moment.
Jamie Carragher today insisted Liverpool can take heart from their second-half performance during
Sunday's 3-2 defeat at Manchester United.
Steven Gerrard's quick-fire brace saw the Reds level the scoreline at 2-2 after Dimitar Berbatov's
double had put United into a two-goal lead at Old Trafford.
The Wizards continue their busy week tomorrow as they welcome the Houston Dynamo to CAB for a big
game between the two sides. It's another big game for KC as they need to win their home games to
have a chance at the playoffs. The Dynamo team they take on tomorrow is different from any Dynamo
team that's previously come to Kansas City.
Here we go again! It's time to get back on track, iron out our failings and learn from our
mistakes. Simples.
Of course, losing is part of the rich tapestry of football. But losing while seemingly having
forgotten the basics is harder to shrug off.
If you fall off a horse, they say, the best thing to do is get straight back in the saddle.
With midfielder Abou Diaby and goalkeeper Manuel Almunia joining the long list of injured players,
Arsenal will hope to have captain Cesc Fabregas available for this Sunday's big game at Stamford
Bridge against Chelsea. Speaking on ...
Arnar Gretarsson is AEK's new headcoach for the time being. The technical director and former
AEK-player is coming out of his office and on the pitch again until a successor is found for Dusan
Bajevic. Finding a new headcoach might take a while, as we seem to be looking for someone who is
experienced, ambitious and.
Carlo Ancelotti is expected to go with a youth movement today against French side Marseille. The
double winning coach from last season will be forced to pencil in a lineup without suspended star
Didier Drogba today and Frank Lampard, Salomon Kalou and newly acquired Yossi Benayoun will all
be out as well due to injuries.

Back in June, on the eve of the World Cup, there were questions being raised about whether
Seattle Sounders goalkeeper Kasey Keller had much more left in the tank at age 40.
