Canada continues their centennial celebrations with a friendly match against the United States.
The match will take place at BMO Field in Toronto, Canada on June 3, 2012 with kickoff is scheduled
for 7 PM USA Eastern.
USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann
"Canada is always a team that can score a goal out of nothing, let's say with a set play or with
a counter-break.
Expected, but out of the blue. Kuyt to Fenerbahce is official, not long after initial reports
surfaced early this morning.
So, what will you remember most? His hat-trick against United probably leads the list, and
rightfully so, but we're not wanting for choices. There's his five strikes against Everton,
including two game-winners.
Orlando, FL Following the overtime, pk's, post game celebrations, and the long
journey out of the complex we reached our hotel at 10:30 am. The boys had one hour to rest.
Instructions were crystal clear. Rest your bodies with legs elevated, hydrate with plenty of
gatorade, and eat fruit and power bars to refuel before the final.
Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has expressed his sympathy for a dominant Bayern Munich side that
the Blues overcame against all odds to win Saturday's Champions League final at the Allianz
Arena.
Cahill, 26, recovered from injury to make it to the final to provide cover for the suspended
John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic.
Patrice Evra, whose form has been questionable this season, has claimed that this has been the
hardest time he's had since joining the club.
"What's happened to me this year, personal things, have been really tough," said Evra.
"I know people will think I'm only saying this because we've lost the title but this is the
most difficult season I've ever had for Manchester United.
I have been blogging all day about The Bayern View and comments from different people made shortly
after the defeat in the German Cup at the weekend. It was a shocking result from their point of
view and being a big game, most of their players disappointed.
So, if you haven't seen the goals here they are!
Chelsea great Gianfranco Zola says Didier Drogba must start ahead of Fernando Torres in Saturday's
Champions League final. The Italian reckons Torres could make an impact from the bench, but claims
Drogba's status as a big-game player means he has to start the game. Speaking exclusively to OTP,
Zola said: "I think that Didier Drogba [.
There's always that feeling of awkwardness whenever Sepp Blatter steps on the
ball no one really knows quite what to say. Do we help him, or do we just stand and watch? Answers
on a postcard!
Anyway, Canada celebrated their role as hosts of the 2015 Women's World Cup
last week, and national goalkeeper Karina Leblanc (seen above) along with Canadian
president, Stephen Harper, held an event in Ottawa for the festivities.
1. The champagne is definitely on ice at the Etihad now. Just don't expect Yaya Toure to be
imbibing. 2. He's big, he's game and he's some player. But most importantly, he's a big-game
player. How often does Yaya step up when City need him? 3. Champions League qualification has gone
out of fashion. None [.
On the eve of the FA Cup final, OTP had the chance to take a peek at football's most prestigious
piece of silverware. We can confirm it is shiny and emits magic. As is to be expected, the historic
trophy was guarded by the cup's very own Kevin Costner: a bodyguard with a unswerving dedication

For those who think formation doesn't matter, that the tactical eggheads who reduce the game to
numbers and minutiae are ruining the fun for normal people, well, you're wrong.
Kenny Dalglish It's all very well playing a reserve side in the Premier League before an FA Cup
Final, but that assumes that your squad can simply decide to start playing well in a big game. If
that was true, Liverpool would not be in the position they find themselves in currently. For Kenny,
there [.
It's time for our weekly 3 Questions exchange with the SB Nation blog of the opposing team. This
week, Alicia Ratterree of The Goat Parade was kind enough to partake in this exchange with me. As
we all know, Friday is a big game for the Fire. To me, 3 points feels essential to get us back on
track.
There's a rather big game coming up tomorrow. The Seattle Sounders wil, of course, be hosting
the LA Galaxy in a midweek affair that won't get the attention it probably deserves. The
unfortunate reality is that this rather huge game, at least from a psyche standpoint, is smack dab
in the middle of the busiest part of the Sounders' MLS schedule.
It's another big, big game for Chelsea tomorrow night and a game we simply have to win. Our form is
good, we are scoring goals and with one defeat in all competitions in fifteen games, our confidence
is high.
Newcastle come to the Bridge with aspirations of fourth place themselves but after having taken a
beating from Wigan, they have to be wary of another defeat against us.

Title decider? Manchester City v Manchester United preview is a post from: Just Football
Time for a look at tonight's big game in the Premier League, the potential title decider
between city rivals Manchester City and Manchester United. Head
over to Betfair football betting if you're planning a punt on the game.
Quite a Sunday ahead.
Celtic hosting Rangers and Hibs continuing their long, frustrating struggle to shake off relegation
rivals Dunfermline against St Mirren. Two games that might normally have the Betfair football
betting experts scratching their heads.
Today's match at Celtic Park is both essentially meaningless and yet crammed full of meaning.
Big game for the Portland Timbers this morning as they aim to prove that they can keep their
winning "streak" alive as well as win on the road, something that has proven to be quite the
challenge for them since they joined MLS last season. Even more important, however, is the fact
that this will be the first and only time this season that the Timbers will face off against the
Montreal Impact which means getting three points here is doubly important given that their will be
no chance for redemption.
Bastian Schweinsteiger has urged his Bayern Munich teammates to show complete focus throughout
their Champions League semifinal second leg against Real Madrid, which they currently lead 2-1.
Conceding a costly away goal in the first leg at the Allianz arena has put Bayern in a tricky
situation where they must either score at least once, or keep a clean sheet if they fail to
score.
Man City v Man United: Premier League Set for Thrilling Finish - originally posted on
Soccerlens.com
Manchester United's 4-4 draw against Everton may have cost them dearly in the
race for the Premier League this season.
Following Manchester City's 2-0 win at
Wolves, Mancini's side are now perfectly poised to overtake their city rivals in next Monday
evening's derby.
I think it would be fair to say if you were to ask most people to people look back at what has
set this Premier League season apart from others the answer you'd get would have to be:
high-scoring games. For a slightly more pessimistic view: bad defending.
It is in the big games where this has been most noticeable.
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has accepted the harsh criticism that has been unleashed at him
ever since Monday's 2-1 defeat at home to Wigan but remains committed to bouncing back from the
setback against the Latics.
Ramsey entered Monday evening's match as an early substitute for Mikel Arteta and with the
Gunners falling two goals behind within the opening eight minutes, there was heavy pressure on the
Welshman to deliver against a relegation-threatened opposition.
KC continue their two game Pacific Northwest road swing tomorrow when they'll take on the Portland
Timbers at Jeld-Wen Field. Portland is struggling quite a bit at the moment. They've lost their
last 4 games, and are winless in their last 5. Of course a team that is struggling isn't always the
thing you want to face.

After looking (and proving as it turned out) at how
Chelsea could beat Spurs, looking at
Barcelona and their weaknesses which proved to be
right again, I am now having a look
at the big game tomorrow.
Arsenal had been on a fantastic run of late but defeats to QPR away and Wigan at home last Monday
have cost them.

There is no question about it in my mind - tonight's game is huge!. I personally believe that the
first leg at the Bridge is much more important that the away leg next week because it can either
put us in a strong position or leave us with it all to do at the Nou Camp.
Should Chelsea attack Barcelona tonight and look to score a couple of goals to give us an advantage
or should we remain cautious to make sure we do not concede and hope to score out there where away
goals count double?
When did Wigan turn into Barcelona?
I was certain that today's Arsenal v Wigan match was a home banker. How could it not be. Wigan
had never won at the Emirates in the Premier League
But I was totally forgetting that Wigan had just beaten Man United and should have beaten
Chelsea (robbed by the linesman).

Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky has emphasized the importance of tonight's Premier League
fixture at home to Wigan Athletic, insisting that the Gunners have no room for error.
Rosicky's terrific recent form has been a major factor in his side's firm grip on the third
place in the league standings.
You will wake up this morning and read the focus on the controversial second Chelsea goal yesterday
at Wembley but do not let that detract from a fantastic Chelsea performance and result that sees us
score five and set up a date with Liverpool on May 5th in the final!.
I said before the game that in this one it was literally
all or nothing, explained
how I saw weaknesses in Tottenham's formations with
huge gaps between their defence and
midfield that could be exposed and stated that Chelsea have the
big game
experience in our squad which could be key to getting the right result!
Robbie Di Matteo has spoken to the media ahead of tonight's FA CUP semi final against Spurs and has
been keen to reiterate the big game experience the Chelsea players have and the fact that they love
playing at Wembley.
Chelsea have won five games out of five at Wembley in the FA CUP and will be looking to continue
that record today.
Sometimes in football you don't need to say anything to the players as they are sitting there in
the changing room waiting to head out for a big game. In this particular instance Gareth Bale,
speaking ahead of tomorrow, has given an interview and has stated that he thinks
that they "have a better team" than Chelsea.
A quick round-up of links you can read to your friends during the tailgate:
Unholy Union has some goose news: Oh...and remember, columbus fans ht a goose and couldnt make
it. Chant as necessary. Opposi.g player announcements, instead of "sucks", yell "goose"
It's crazy, but Freddy Adu might play a soccer game so it must be time to ask whether this is
the moment that he becomes everything he is supposed to be.
By J Hutcherson - WASHINGTON, DC (Apr 13, 2012) US Soccer Players -- The big game is in Kansas City
this weekend, and we're all supposed to be nodding along with talk of how revolutionary Sporting KC
already is this season. As bandwagons go, it's an easy one to climb aboard. The results are already
in Sporting's favor.
Brad Jones is still getting used to the fact that he has been thrust into the Liverpool spotlight,
but claims he is ready for a day out at Wembley.
As third-choice goalkeeper at Anfield, the Australian shot-stopper was not expecting to see a lot
of first-team action this season.
He has, however, seen Kenny Dalglish suffer something of a shot-stopping crisis, with Jose Reina
and Alexander Doni forced to serve suspensions after picking up red cards.
The big game in Europe last night was arguably not the Madrid derdy (and certainly not QPR v
Swansea), but instead the Deutschland National Derby, where Borussia Dortmund hosted Bayern Munich.
The clubs occupy the top two places in the Bundesliga, and Bayern went into the game knowing that a
win would get them level [.
Rather than doing my regular hat trick today, I thought I would throw out a few thoughts heading
into the Dynamo game Sunday. It is a big game for the Fire, coming off a tough loss in Colorado
when we played pretty poorly. Understandably, confidence has taken a blow in Fire land since the
Rapids match.
One of the players to come in for most criticism after Monday's home defeat by Norwich was
Ledley King. Our club captain's constant struggle with injury has been well documented over the
last few seasons and recent performances have led to suggestions from some sections of support that
it's time to hang up the boots with dignity.
Substitute Liverpool goalkeeper Brad Jones dedicated his penalty save to his late son after helping
his side to victory at Blackburn on Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old Australian made his Premier League debut for the Reds at Ewood Park, coming on in
the opening half after Alexander Doni, deputising for the suspended Pepe Reina, was handed his
marching orders for a foul on Junior Hoilett.
