The Beauty: Melina Pitra like many of the WAGs we have profiled here @ STO is
from Argentina. While she is not actually one of the top Argentine WAGs (or even one of the
hottest), she is on this list for one simple reason. The player she shagged has the most
appropriate name ever at least judging by the picture at left.
In life there are only a handful of things that are certain. You will watch Big Brother. It will
irritate you. MPs will lie through their back teeth (and their front ones). Summer does make girls
more attractive. And makes you feel less so. People who ring in radio stations with traffic updates
are idiots.
Kickettes, if you're in a man-shopping sort of mood, we are please to bring you two new
additions on the singles market:
Tottenham's Carlo Cudicini and Athletic de Bilbao's Aitor Ocio. Both are now available for your
stalking/harassing/dating pleasure.
Carlo Cudicini and Alessia Marcuzzi in 2003
Carlo's long-term relationship with model/Italian Big Brother presenter, Alessia Marcuzzi is
dunzo.
Duric - 人在江湖,身不由己? (whose existence in the team beyond his control?)
A colleague of me (whom I call him "阿兄"- "Big Brother" in Teochew dialect) offered a different
perspective on the current state of the national team a few days ago.
"We need a complete overhaul of the system.
Slap on a facemask, stock up on tamiflu and come this way for an all coughing, all sniffling
preview of the 6th round of the Tippeliga..
Saturday
Aalesund (5th) - Molde (2nd)
One of the fiercest rivalries in the league, this encounter has been given some extra gloss
because of the fact that both teams are riding uncharacteristically high in the table.
Poor Dani Alves. He arrived one minute late for training yesterday - and faces
a fine by the club. Other guilty offenders included Gudjohnsen, Xavi, Eto'o, Messi and Toure. Oh
come on, they wanted to watch reruns of Big Brother to celebrate Copa del
Ray!

Guus Hiddink seems to be making a bit of a meal leaving Chelsea. He says he will be back and
forth to support the club.
"Unofficially, I will keep my connection with the club," he said as he prepared for tomorrow's
game at home to Blackburn Rovers. "By supporting them, by coming to visit every now and then.
The second round of the Norwegian cup was so staggeringly uneventful and dull that we here at
NFN elected to ignore it altogether. However, with an epic shootout in the South, a local derby in
the Southwest and rampant minnows up North, the third round was an entirely different kettle of
fish...
We start up North with the upset that wasn't really an upset.
English Premier League club Manchester City has signed a long-term partnership with
Endemol Sport, a division of the TV production company Endemol - famous for producing the
globe-spanning Big Brother programme.
Endemol Sport will be tasked with developing schemes to use television to build City's brand
throughout the world, as well as relaunching the club website, which will be available in English
and Arabic.
A home game against IFK Göteborg represents one of the most anticipated and prestigious matches of
the year. Even on a bad year this game is at the very least a good old-fashioned hate match. This
year, both teams are involved in the very top contention of Allsvenskan and 2009 must be considered
an extremely good year for AIK to beat the Geat.
These days we're finding it hard to be totally thighjective, Kickettes.
So, to keep your life thighly entertaining, we've switched up the format a tad. Gawking and
salivating are still welcomed and definitely encouraged. However, please let's do our best to
keep all of the "Um, like OMG, he totally ran train through all of ITV/C4's reality stars"
comments to ourselves.
strong>A couple of apologies first. One for introducing Marcus Bentley's dulcet Big Brother tone
into your head and secondly for perhaps once again putting the cat amongst the pigeons on a
sensitive and potentially divisive topic. The topic? Well it's the topic of whether or not you're
doing your duty by Newcastle United in attending [.
The Cleveland City Stars are no more. I'd heard rumors that they might move back down to USL-2, but
for some reason the league decided to pull the plug:
After months of negotiation and meetings, and in the midst of the conclusion of our
sale, the USL decided to terminate our franchise just prior to Thanksgiving.
I think negotiations for the new CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) for the MLS Players Union so
far can be summed up like this: Union: We want better contracts. Owners: No. Union: Please? Owners:
No. Union: Pretty please? Owners: No. Union: Fine. We'll go get our big brother FIFPro. Owners:
Fine.
For some people, the end of the football season in years that end with odd numbers means a
return to the real world. For two and a half months they become normal people, spending time with
family and friends, allowing their sofas and their wallets to recover from the arduous few months
that have just passed and giving every impression of being normal, well-rounded human beings.
Well Saturday couldn't have gone any better, could it! A four goal win away from home, six wins
out of six, our nearest rivals drawing and a seven point lead going into a home game against the
bottom team in the group.
Not the time to get complacent though, even though the facts are overwhelming: Andorra have only
ever picked up a point away from home in the World Cup qualifiers (against Macedonia in 2005) and
have never won an away game.
When Ahmed Hassan wheeled away to celebrate scoring a 92nd minute equalizer against Trinidad and
Tobago, Bahrain believed they were on their way to the 2006 World Cup. Colombian ref Oscar Julian
Ruiz Acost had other ideas. The goal was of the Best Banks variety. The sort of goal no one wants
to see disallowed, especially when the forward's cheekiness is executed with such fine
precision.

Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou and Abdoulaye Meite were both in the Ivory Coast squad to face
Germany in Wednesday's international friendly (2-2 draw). Neither was available for Saturday's
World Cup qualifiying win over Guinea after the two went all hyphy on each other in training. The
two have since made up (awww).
Haven't given much coverage to the SEA Games in Lao recently. It would have been nice to have gone
there and covered it but I didn't and it ain't been shown locally as far as I'm aware.
Any old hows Andy is there for the duration and is doing a great job on his blog but he's heading
home now the Cambodian interest has ended.
There is no hiding from it. And thanks to Pim and the World lure and an expected fan favourite
exidus, it could get worse.
Currently there is no evidence that the FFA is preparing to ride the 2010 World wave next
season.
So far most clubs are in financial trouble and struggling to attract viable fan numbers to games.
