The U.S. U-20 WNT rebounded from a 1-1 draw with Ghana in its 2010 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup
opener with a rousing 5-0 victory over Switzerland today. The win puts the USA in good position to
qualify for the quarterfinals heading into the July 21 meeting with South Korea in Bielefeld.

against Nigeria on July 25, the U.S. team did go on several walks/jogs while in Bielefeld and after
one, midfielder Mollie Pathman returned to the hotel proclaiming to have seen "A goose the size of
an ostrich!
Today another FIFA final will be staged in the city of Bielefeld where Germany will take on
surprise finalists Nigeria in the Women's U-20 World Cup. After nearly three weeks of football and
90 goals, the curtains come down on tournament that has largely been billed as a dress rehearsal
for next year's senior event.
