Liverpool are reportedly 'locked in battle' with AC Milan over Danish starlet Christian
Eriksen.
The 19-year-old midfielder, who has earned rave reviews for his performances at both international
and domestic level, had previously been earmarked as a star of the future at Ajax by Dennis
Bergkamp and Johan Cruyff before graduating to the senior side in 2010.

One rumour gained momentum yesterday regarding Florent Malouda and reported interest from German
giants Bayern Munich. German Magazine Kicker is reporting that Bayern have shown "big" interest in
the Frenchman and a bidding war could start as the January window opens.
I think it was surprising to see Malouda re affirm his commitment to Chelsea during the transfer
window and especially on deadline day.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is set to join Premier League rivals Tottenham in the hunt for
Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao, according to reports on Goal.com.
Tottenham have been linked with Damiao throughout the course of the summer transfer window and it
is now believed Liverpool is prepared to enter the race for the 22-year-old.
Liverpool are reportedly watching former Arsenal midfielder Havard Nordtveit with a keen eye, as
the Borussia Munchengladbach youngster continues to impress in the German Bundesliga.
The news is surprising given Nordveit's inability to break into the Gunners first team despite
serving there for three years, but reports are emerging that Arsene Wenger reluctantly sold the
Norweigian as he realized the youngster needed more first team opportunities.
