We all know how Rangers and Celtic fans feel about each other. But this is just mean. Here's the
backstory for those who need it: The Scottish Premier League title was decided on Sunday. For

Quite funny! Here's the backstory for those who need it: The Scottish Premier League title was
decided on Sunday. For Celtic to overtake Rangers on the final day, the Bhoys needed to beat Hearts
at home and hope that Rangers failed to beat Dundee Utd away. Sadly for Celtic, that didn't ...
The "race" for the managerial vacancy (did such a thing not already exist before Strachan
departed?) at Glasgow Celtic acts as an example of all that is wrong with the British game.
A Takeover.
Boardroom Cliques And Peripheral Wannabees.
Rogue Agents.
Managerial Candidates Fronting Consortia.
Celtic are at the beginning of a new era with boss Tony Mowbray and club
officials are already looking for ways to reinforce the team that lost the SPL title to Rangers.
The latest reports are suggesting that the Bhoys have set their sights on Serbia Under-21
international Nikola Petkovic, who currently plays for Eintracht Frankfurt.
"I think that, all things considered, that second half was the worst Celtic performance I've ever
seen. I'd say that match was a clear cut case of selling the jerseys" - Gerry Coogan
(ManAtTheWindow).
Well, yet again we have to remind you that we warned of the consequences of allowing not-so-super
agent John Colquhoun to oversee the selection process for the new Glasgow Celtic manager.
Celtic accompany the mounting queue to acquire Venezuelan attacking midfielder Juan Arango, one
of La Liga's most regular and impressive performers, from destitute Real Mallorca.
Attention has been widely acknowledged from Stoke City, Borussia Monchengladbach and
Trabzonspor, but do the Bhoys possess the financial clout to meet Mallorca's €4m valuation?
Celtic midfielder Aiden McGeady was sent off for DIVING as the Hoops claimed a 1-0 win at Hibernian
to go level on points with SPL leaders Rangers. Just days ago, Arsenal frontman Eduardo was accused
of diving after winning a dubious penalty in the Champions League play-off clash against Celtic at
Emirates Stadium.
Bolton Chairman Phil Gartside has popped his head above the parapet again. An article in today's
Guardian has once again floated the idea of a two tier Premier League. This would involve the
co-opting of the current Cocaleague into the EPL structure, with those Bhoys and Gers from Glasgow
added to taste.
After four very successful years, Gordon Strachan has decided to leave Celtic.
The speculations regarding his future had been mounting throughout the season but it seems that
losing the SPL title to Rangers was the last drop. The Bhoys were on the verge of
winning the fourth consecutive league title, having led the race with Rangers from the very start
of the league campaign, but the big downtrend in form during the latter stages of
the season allowed Gers to leapfrog them in the standings and win the long-awaited title.
Ex-Portsmouth manager reveals intricate details of his non-existent deal with Bhoys Tony Adams has
been hung out to dry (if you pardon the connotations) after going live on radio to say he was on
the verge of becoming Celtic's new manager. Former Celtic boss Wim Jansen dismissed Adams' claims
that he would re-join the club in [.
Celtic Park is one of the most difficult stadiums to play on, if your jersey
doesn't have green and white colour on it that is, and the Bhoys have beaten some great of European
sides thanks to the magnificent support from the stands. However, things were
completely different when Celtic would play on the European travels as they couldn't win away for
six years.
Morning Insiders plently to talk about from the newspapers this morning. As usual comment
welcome....
The Mirror - Almunia sorry to see Toure go
Arsenal goalkeeper Manuel Almunia believes defender Kolo Toure left the Gunners because he was
"bored" and fears the same could happen with captain Cesc Fabregas.
A couple of lucky goals at the start of new season have set the pulses racing
all over Great Britain and it is interesting how always the stronger teams get a smile from Lady
Luck. Usually just one of those that could fall in the lucky category decide the game, but
Arsenal's win over Celtic must get a category of its own.
by STUART WATSON Most papers lead with previews of tonight's match versus Celtic with a couple
of other stories thrown in about atmosphere at the new ground and Arsene Wenger speaking about the
progress of William Gallas.
The Sun WILLIAM GALLAS has put last seasons ill discipline where he was stripped of the
captaincy behind him.
Can we say we are safely through having secured a half-time lead? Well I think so, although it's
a shame that we had to take the lead with a penalty coming from a dive from Eduardo.
Considering how easy the game is, I don't think we needed to invent a penalty so I'm
disappointed with the Croatian, who kept his cool to score and make up for a big miss early in the
half.
OMG I am part of the 60,943,912 block of humanity that owns 43.5% of Glasgow Rangers and nobody
told me.
Disinvest me.
I don't wish to own any part of a stock that I would rather make a strategic short selling position
upon.
This is a distressed stock.
All the playing staff are on the transfer list and it is rumoured that failed property developer,
Sir Murray, was ousted from his eyrie by bankers.

The nearly there meets the nearly gone. Having dodged a ten point deduction for entering
administration, the Saints will need to stay in the Championship as the noises coming from the
administrator suggest that a drop into League 2 could destroy the club.
The Gunners face the Bhoys on August 18th in Glasgow before returning to host them on August
26th. The first time these two teams will face each other in European competition.
Great. No Atletico or Fiorentina to contend with.
Ok, naf title, but we have drawn the ‘Bhoys' in The Champions League qualifier, first leg is
the 18th August across the border in sunny Scotland – in The Emirates Cup we swept aside Rangers,
the current champions of Scotland with some ease, so on paper we should be able to do the same with
Celtic.
