So far, the Lakers' 2010 post-season campaign has seen DBeck's love for beverages and plaid. In
fact, he's now so well-adjusted in America that he has quite a collection of colourful and
patterned button-downs to show for his "dual" citizenship. We might even go out on a limb and say
David passes for the average basketball fan.
Even if it's with an air gun. And if there's another lesson here, even a life lesson not
exclusive to those who earn big change to play football, it's that you should never take lessons
from Diego Maradona's off-pitch behavior.
Just as Diego did some years ago, a Hondruan keeper has shot at a journalist with an air gun,
hitting him twice, along with a fellow journalist in the area.
Crapity crapity crap crap.
With legal issues looking to dominate tomorrow, a quick "overnight" update seems to be in order.
First the unavoidable bad news: Daniel Agger and Dirk Kuyt both picked up injuries. While the
severity of the Dane's is uncertain, Kuyt's looks to be a bad ankle sprain that will see the Dutch
wide attacker out for two weeks.
With St. Andrews incapable of providing adequate provisions for half-time beverages and snacks,
I stayed in the stands during half-time. There was no way that people were going to get their beer
down there, with thousands of fans crammed in to such a tiny area. If you did make it to the
counter in time, there would be no way you'd make it back through the crowds with even half a beer
left, so I thought better of it, and have apparently missed something newsworthy.

We just pulled up the stadium and there's an awesome atmosphere in the parking lot of Rentschler
Field. USA fans are out in full force, with grills fired up and beverages flowing. The beautiful
weather (83 degrees may even be a little warm) has led people to post up outside their cars before
heading to their seats.
