Arsene Wenger may well be the Premier League manager who is most often associated with the
development of players and the rebuilding of squads, but it is Sir Alex Ferguson who has been more
impressive at cutting the chaff from his squad and integrating young talent into his side in order
to give it a boost and keep it able to fight consistently at the top of the Premier League, more
often than not fighting successfully in a manner that brings with it trophies and glory.
Arsenal begin their Champions League campaign on tonight against Udinese and despite missing
suspended Robin van Persie, injured Jack Wilshire and Samir Nasri , the bookies still believe it
will be a relatively easy victory for the Gunners.
Unibet, who are offering a no risk first bet promotion to arsenalinsider readers, make Arsene
Wenger's side 1.
Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates on Saturday at 12.45pm on the back of an unconvincing
1-0 victory against Udinese in their Champions League first leg qualifying match, with injuries to
key defenders and mounting pressure on Arsene Wenger.
Despite this, Unibet still make the Gunners favourites to beat the Reds on
Saturday – a game that is LIVE on Sky Sports.
ROBIN van Persie will wear the armband for the first time in a Premier League game as the
official Arsenal skipper when the Gunners face Liverpool at the Emirates today.
And thanks to our pals at Unibet, you can have a FREE £20 bet on the enticing

Ian Holloway is hoping to bring in a new goalkeeper after Paul Rachubka picked up an injury in
training that could keep him out of action for an extended spell of time. With Rachubka joining
Matt Gilks, who has a knee injury, on the sidelines, keeper Richard Kingson is the only option now
available to Holloway as he attempts to stave off what had seemed so unlikely just a month or so
ago: relegation.
Manchester United fans aren't usually the type to keep quiet when it comes to expressing their
anger at controversial decisions made by their owners, and it has proved no different this week,
with supporters' groups revealing their fury at the club's decision to increase the price of
tickets for next season by £1 per game.
Gary Neville is a man who hasn't made too many fans outside the confines of Old Trafford, and
particularly over towards the direction of Merseyside, but he is also a man who has been a
fantastic servant over the years for Manchester United. Those who follow the football odds will
know this.
With the club preparing to honour his career with a testimonial at Old Trafford against Italian
giants Juventus, it's sure to be a special night for all involved with the club and all involved
with the development of a man who made his debut at the age of just 17.
Roberto Mancini has issued a rallying cry to his Manchester City side warning them not to mess
things up in the FA Cup final.
The Citizens are celebrating ensuring Champions League qualification for the first time in their
history, securing that Premier League top four spot with a 1-0 win over Spurs.
Although Stoke are not the prettiest team to watch, and are not exactly everyone's cup of tea when
it comes to the manner in which they conduct themselves on the pitch (with Robert Huth not doing
them any favours with his elbow early on in the game at the weekend), they certainly had earned the
right to get to the final of the FA Cup.
Having come up against the second best Premier league side, according to the current table anyway,
and swatted them away like a very tiny fly, Barcelona have already dealt with one of the best that
Europe has to offer, leaving their opponents questioning whether or not they stand a chance of
stopping Pep Guardiola's side from picking up the Champions League crown this season.

Borussia Dortmund v Arsenal
This looks like a tough start for the Gunners, especially on the back of their heavy defeat
at the hands of Manchester United in the Premier League. Current Bundesliga Champions
Borussia Dortmund are quietly fancied to do well in this season's Champions League
following some excellent performances in their domestic league last season.
Three matches in and there are already a few things we know about the Premiership.
1 That Manchester United will hit double figures against some poor unfortunates this season
2 Thanks to some serious spending QPR might just end up being the second most successful West
London club this season
3 Gary Cahill will go in the January transfer window for £20 million plus
4 There are at least a dozen commentators hoping that Denis Stracqualursi isn't a success at
Everton
5 Shane Long might just make the difference between West Brom staying up
So on to this week's games brought to you in conjunction with our betting sponsors www.
When the fixture computer plucked out Arsenal v Swansea for Saturday 10th September, most
Arsenal fans could have been forgiven for thinking of not just of an easy three points from this
early season fixture – but also about a goal fest!
But given the Gunners recent poor performances Arsenal fans are nervously looking over their
shoulders – could Swansea do the impossible and win at the Emirates?

amongts others, to win the group it may be worth taking Unibet's 11/10 on them
before the two teasm clash – because if the Gunners were to get a win they would sure to
trading odds on.
Arsenal travel Blackburn tomorrow and it promises to be a difficult game, as Rovers have caused
problems for Arsene Wenger's team in the past; in the last six encounters away from North London
Arsenal have failed to win on three occasions.
Robin Van Persie is in decent form and Gervinho will want to get amongst the goals at Ewood
Park.

the game. More experienced players such as Ju Young Park and Yossi Benayoun will be joined by
the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Ryo Miyaichi in the squad.
