"I'm getting the words 'Group of Death'..."
It's time for you to look into your Sepp Blatter-shaped crystal ball and predict which group
England will land in tomorrow's World Cup draw in Cape Town. Exciting stuff, eh.
These are the four pots:
POT 1 (Seeds):
Argentina, Brazil, ENGLAND, Germany, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Holland
POT 2 (Asia, Oceania and North/Central America):
Australia, New Zealand, Honduras, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Mexico, United

Group winners
Bordeaux
Manchester United
Real Madrid
Chelsea
Fiorentina
Barcelona
Sevilla
Arsenal
Group runners-up
Bayern Munich
CSKA Moscow
AC Milan
Porto
Lyon
Inter
Stuttgart
Olympiacos

seven-point cushion), so a draw here will...
Close, Nando, but no cigar. No silverware either Mystic Torres looks into the future and sees
Liverpool winning the Premier League. Not yet, amigo....
The fixture list for next season's Prem campaign were just released. For copyright reasons, Pies is
not allowed to post them in full here (that's ridiculous, btw), but we can highlight a few key
dates for your diary: 1. Manchester...
Liverpool fans, superstitious? Yes, judging by the hundreds of comments left on the Guardian's
Liverpool FC pre-season profile, in which the newspaper's football writers collectively predicted

Terrible moustache, Ian. Not-terrible defending, Alan Hot on the heels of the news that the
Guardian "jinxed" Liverpool's tilt at a 19th league title, Sky Sports pundit Jeff Stelling has
added to the weight of the hex: "Manchester United...
