Swansea tough nut to crack for Sunderland - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
Swansea look one of the bets of the weekend at 2.2 with Boylesports to beat Sunderland.
Despite the fact that they have won all three of their games this season by an aggregate of 11
goals to one, and have a tremendous record at home bookmakers still seem to take them on.

Arsenal fans should be delighted to hear the news that their young striker, Benik Afobe, is to
spend a season-long loan at Bolton Wanderers.
Afobe follows in the footsteps of Jack Whilshere, in moving to the Reebok Stadium, and the clear
benefits to Wilshere's game can be expected to rub off on Afobe's.
Rafael van der Vaart has played down reports linking him with a return to Hamburg, this summer, as
"just gossip", the playmaker insisting that he is thoroughly enjoying his time in the Premier
League.
The Dutchman has been a revelation at Spurs, since his arrival in 2010, but rumours had begun to
surface since Euro 2012 that the midfielder could be tempted to rejoin his old club in Germany.
As you will know, this is a blog about Arsenal. Hence the name.
Obviously I have a keen interest in all things Arsenal. I want the the club to do well, to win
things, to compete and to sign good players. When we sign those players, I will welcome them
(unless they're one of these signings in which case I'll hedge my bets and make a 'this tastes
yukky' face whilst suggesting we should wait and see how they do), and players we don't sign don't
interest me in the slightest.

A new prediction website has been launched which aims to help you plot your football betting. Betegy uses an algorithm to determine the most likely outcome of the top European leagues. OTP took a look at the Premier League predictions for last weekend... and at first we were only partially impressed.
Patrick Vieira is writing about les Bleus for the English-speaking world in a column in the
Telegraph.
In his article this morning, he leads with the highly optimistic premise that France's front
three of Nasri, Benzema, and Ribery will be the key to the France-England match because they're so
awesome.

While the Portland Timbers faced off against a tough opponent and came out the better side last
Sunday, their true test will be tomorrow night when they go on the road, once again, to take on
Western Conference rival the Colorado Rapids. As we all know, the Timbers don't have the bets
record against Colorado so far since joining MLS and, with the Rapids now returning to full
strength after a series of injuries, Spencer's side will truly be tested.
I've kept quiet in the last couple of months. Not because I had my jaw broke or anything but simply
because I have been too busy to write.
I am going to try and change that. Ideally I'll try and get on here at least twice a week or at the
very least four or five times a year. Which is more than I have done recently.
Arsene Wenger is adamant that Robin Van Persie will stay at Arsenal and he's willing to stake a
chocolate bar on it. The Gunners boss dismissed reports linking RVP with a move to Juventus during
an interview with an Italian newspaper. In fact, he told the journalist that he would purchase a
Caramello bar [.

Gourcuff, a day everyone at Kickette had been hoping, praying and taking bets for. Whilst drinking
ourselves into a adult beverage-induced stupor at Red Bulls Arena during the Trophee Des Champions,
we happened to bump into Lyon's resident cutie-pants, [.
Tonight, before stepping onto the stadium of the Route de Lorient in Rennes, Lyon players know
that Lille beat Toulouse and show no sign of slowing down. Whether it will motivate them to pursue
the hunt for this so deeply coveted third place, or hurt their morale to see this step so high to
reach is a question.
A guest post today as Paul Fisher wonders if football isn't more enjoyable when watched far from
the maddening crowd of social media:
I may only be 20 years of age but I feel like I have already been through about five decades of
life. The way that technology has grown and evolved over the years is something that I have come to
despise.
And so it begins. Three and a half weeks of what promises to be a highly entertaining European
Championships. As usual, I'll be making my predictions below, and putting my money where my mouth
is with a few bets. Well, I say putting my money where my mouth is, I'm only staking £1/£2 each
time, so I'm hardly backing my judgment with a great deal of confidence.
An international tournament has finally arrived, allowing us the chance to smash some of our
(hard-earned?) pennies. OTP will bring you a betting tips column at various stages throughout the
three weeks, but today we start with our pre-tournament bets. Get them on quickly: Winner Is there
any value in going for Spain or Germany?
TweetEngland legend Paul Gascoigne has come clean as he tackles your questions and debunks many
myths ahead of Euro 2012. It is a must see! 'Gazza' tackles amongst many things, his antics after
matches, his mad bets with Jimmy 'Five Bellies', what it means to wear the Three Lions shirt, as
well as his hopes [.
How do you fancy betting on something different at Euro 2012? We all know the usual bets that can
be placed when a major tournament such as Euro 2012 is on. Overall winner, top goalscorer and
specific results from matches are among the most popular markets. But reeling off those for you
would be a [.
As European domestic campaigns start to wrap up, the footballing world is starting to turn its
focus to the upcoming Euro 2012 campaign in Ukraine and Poland. With the first game less than two
months away on June 8th, through to the final on July 1st, some of the leading players and teams
will be on show in eastern Europe, with Euro 2012 bets sure to increase in coming weeks.

Continued investment in Android highlights future potential of platform
BETFAIR GROUP PLC (LSE:BET) has today launched a new native Android App that features a completely

The launch of the Betfair new Android App highlights its continued commitment to enhancing its

While the JT case and its never-ending cavalcade of swearing pretty much dominating the sporting
news at the moment, the allegations concerning betting by PL players made by Claus Lundekvam have,
so far, not recevied the attention they deserve.
It's the day after England foiled the French in Donetsk and Andrey Shevchenko rolled back the

If Roy Hodgson's men kept their cool, then Les Bleus were practically sub zero after using 'Cryo
Jackets' in training. Nope, we're not convinced either.
We take a look at Greece, who must beat the Czechs to keep their quarter final hopes alive,
while Russia could be first through to the last eight with a win over Poland.
Newcastle United star, Cheick Tiote, has refuted claims he is about to leave the club, and insists
his future lies on Tyneside.
The Ivory Coast midfielder has been a revelation since his £3.5m switch from FC Twente, in the
summer of 2010. He impressed enough to be offered a new six-and-a-half year deal, in February 2011.
