One way to be sure a new club is good is to get some solid defense and Peter Nowak is trying to
do just that. According to Soccer365.com Philadelphia Union is set to make a deal for the MLS
player rights to US National Team defender Danny Califf.
After very long and hard work, we are proud to announce that the new version of EPL Talk
Predictor is up and running, offering a new experience for our members.
For the past couple of football seasons we tried to make all necessary adjustments to make EPL
Talk Predictor a virtual betting site combining the fun elements of football betting with the
competitive elements of not only beating the bookie – but also proving your wits are superior
over the rest of the EPL Talk Predictor members.
You've all talked yourselves into the Captain, haven't you? Kirkland is (well, was) dirt cheap and
he got the clean sheet last week against Sunderland. Well... if he's a good bet this week, hosting
Birmingham, here's my thinking: I'll take the money I was spending on Duff (still a good bet, home
to Fulham) and get Scharner.
No, not top spot in the league, although that's hopefully looking like a good bet at the moment.
I'm talking about music (finally a relevant musical reference in my headline!). Love 'em or loathe
'em, though the latter I know seems to be more fitting for most on .org, NUST continue their quest

As Christmas approaches, Betfair is giving all Man Utd fans something else to get excited about
– a free to enter poker tournament with tickets to an Old Trafford fixture for
the winner and a signed United shirt for the runner-up.
Entrants go head-to-head with other Reds fans, making the winner the finest poker playing United
fan unofficially at least!

As we head into the festive season, English fans are wrapping the present they give themselves
before every World Cup – the gift of unbridled confidence in their national football team. And
yet, as they have for the past 40+ years, those English fans are likely to stick their thumb in the
Christmas pudding and pull out something far less enjoyable than the plum.
Following on from our recent success with the tipster, we've decided to show/help you

In recent weeks I've found success in spread betting on different sports. Basically, spread
betting is a way of betting which encourages betting on matches where the odds are heavily stacked
in one sides favour.

This time round we will be giving you some more general betting tips, and looking at the
different markets open to betting.
Personally, I enjoy betting for fun on long-odds bets such as accumulators. For example, with
accumulators, it means I take an interest in matches I wouldn't normally be bothered about (e.

A World Cup win in South Africa would put the icing on the cake for coach Dunga, under whose
stewardship Brazil have been looking a strong bet for a sixth title. As a player Dunga already has
a winners medal from 1994 when he lifted the trophy as skipper. But now he ...
Deportivo La Coruna-Barcelona
Deportivo has proven to be for real so far this season and the club enters this home match
losing only one out of their last five matches. Barcelona, on the other hand, has yet to lose
this entire season and last week were able to hold off Real Madrid in a critical home match.
Manchester City-Chelsea
Reeling squad Manchester City enters this week's competition likely hoping to keep the draw
streak alive as they host first place Chelsea in the Battle of the Blues. With seven straight
draws entering this one Tevez, Robinho, and Adebayor need to step up and match the highly potent
Chelsea offense.

North Korea's inclusion in the Group of Death in South Africa is excellent news for those of us
supporting the DPRK at the Finals. Brazil, Portugal and Ivory Coast are all advocates and
practitioners of the era's attacking football philosophy. Watch them come unstuck.
In 1966, in North Korea's last appearance at the Finals, the prevailing world soccer philosophy
was defensive.
Two unlikely heroes emerged out of the two big games this weekend, Juventus-Inter and
Roma-Lazio. In the first game on Saturday, Claudio Marchisio was the game-winner,
using an excellent display of technique to control a ball in tight space and chip Julio Cesar to
score Juventus' second goal.

Manchester City was hit with the loss of two players this weekend to swine flu: Craig Bellamy and
Vladimir Weiss.
I would have bet Bellamy had had it by now.
But whatever.

Mr Goldblatt follows the history of the beautiful game as it rose from a local ritual to a
world-wide phenomenon. He goes on to say why soccer is poised to break out even further in the
United States. Hopefully he is right.

I see winning it: Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester United. If I was putting a bet on, then, for
character and the ability to play poorly and win, then it would be United every single time.
