Liverpool are a little concerned with Dirk Kuyt's fitness after sustaining a shoulder injury
during an international match against Finland on Monday.
Kuyt has been ruled out for Tuesday's match and has been sent back to Liverpool for further
examinations to determine the extent of the injury.
This is what I'm talkin' 'bout Bobbo. No more tracky bottoms as those are for Chavs. No more
sweatshirts, those are for sorority girls to wear while they are doing laundry. And no more polos;
a gentleman only wears those when in the saddle, mallet in hand. Or at a corparate retreat.
The crisp shirt and Timberlake trousers are you cousin, I'm telling ya.
International duty further alienates itself from my good graces.
Ignoring the fact that this Monday has graced those of us stateside with a day off, thanks to
155 million working Americans!
As promised though, today brings something to complain about turns out that Dirk Kuyt was
injured during Holland's 5-0 win over San Marino:
Dirk Kuyt will be out for several weeks with a shoulder injury, according to reports in the
Dutch media.
The curse of international duty has struck again for Liverpool as Dirk Kuyt has returned to
Melwood with a shoulder injury which could rule him out for several weeks.
De Telegraaf reported this afternoon that the attacking midfielder was sent to hospital
for scans after he sprained a shoulder joint after landing awkwardly after stretching to reach a
cross.

Liverpool forward Dirk 'Hollywood' Kuyt has been ruled out for
anything up to two months after shearing the ligaments in his left shoulder whilst attempting a
scissor-kick during a training session.
Kuyt has now been ruled out of Holland's Euro 2012 qualifier against Finland tonight, as well as
Liverpool's next three or four fixtures (including their trip to Manchester United on Sep 19th),
but Dutch coach Bert van Marwijk didn't seem overly concerned when breaking the
news to the press;
"Dirk does that a lot.
Netherlands head coach Bert van Marwijk has dealt Liverpool a blow after he declared Dirk Kuyt
would be sidelined for several weeks with a shoulder injury.
Kuyt, 30, started Friday's 5-0 Euro 2012 qualifying thumping of San Marino but has been ruled out
of Tuesday's clash against Finland. De Telegraaf has reported that he was sent to hospital for
scans to determine the extent of the damage after he sprained a joint landing awkwardly after
acrobatically trying to connect with a cross.

Tottenham new-boy Rafael Van der Vaart has admitted that he is feeling
'despondent' after finding himself continually on the fringes of the Holland national team under
Bert van Marwijk.
Van der Vaart was left on the bench for Holland's Euro 2012 qualifier with San Marino on Friday,
and was seen to cover his mouth as he trudged off the pitch in a funk after being substituted
during the 64th minute of their game with Finland last night.
You have got to sympathise with Rafael Van der Vaart, albeit, briefly. I mean, yeah he has
played for Real Madrid, yeah he is regularly in the Dutch international squad and, yeah he wakes up
to Sylvie Van der Vaart (quite possibly the hottest WAG that has ever caught the eye of fans around
the world).
