Queens Park Rangers, though ostensibly backed by the capacious pockets of Bernie Ecclestone and perhaps Lakshmi Mittal, have spent a miserly ₤1.

QPR1st Supporters Trust wishes to congratulate our players for achieving promotion to the premiership.

Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has officially declared Liverpool's Joe Cole unaffordable for the club after reports linked the England international with a move to Loftus Road.
The former West Ham man has endured a fairly miserable season at Anfield after moving to Liverpool last summer on a free transfer from Chelsea.

Neil Warnock has said he has the backing of Queens Park Rangers to "plan for next season" after a meeting with the board. According to today's Guardian, their support appears to rule him out of the running to replace Avram Grant as West Ham United's manager, a possibility that was understood to have appealed to co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan.

On the last day of the season and front of a capacity crowd at Loftus Road, Queens Park Rangers played their last Championship match of the season against Leeds United. The match was covered by the cameras of the BBC, who had already, for the last episiode of "The Football League Show" of the season, been hanging around the main entrance to the ground on South Africa Road (one of the more confusing aspects of the club's idiosyncratic ground) as the FA's decision that the club were not to be deducted any points over the Faurlin affair was announced, a decision made just in time to leave those that had assembled there in paryoxyms of delight at the club's return to the Premier League after an absence of fifteen years.
