Today CONCACAF World Cup qualifying starts for 19 more national associations in the confederation,
with matches going on from Toronto to Georgetown. (Or is Paramaribo further south?) This post will
be updated throughout the day with results and events as they come in, but I'll be working so it
will be more of a semi-live blog.
2014 Word Cup qualifying started off well for Tinidad and Tobago, with a 1-0 win over Bermuda
beginning the process.
Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel started Trinidad's victory off on the bench, but was
substituted into the game in the 36th minute of the game. Daniel replaced Khaleem Hyland well
before the start of half time for reasons beyond a tactical change.
Trinidad and Tobago plays Barbados today at 4 pm and Keon Daniel may make his first start for
the country as a member of the Philadelphia Union.
Daniel and Trinidad pulled out a close 1-0 win over Bermuda on a Kenwyne Jones goal in the 44th
minute. Tobago was expected to pull well away from Barbados, but those expectations were not
met.

Earlier in the week, Keon Daniel started for Trinidad and Tobago in a World Cup Qualifier
against Barbados.
The 25-year-old midfielder went on to score the first goal of the game, which ended up being
good enough to be the game winner.
According to a report out of Trinidad and Tobago, Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel has
not been able to re-enter the USA since playing for the country's national team against Bermuda and
Barbados.
Ten days after representing Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup qualifiers against Bermuda and
Barbados, United States-based Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel is still in Trinidad.
Philadelphia Union midfielder Keon Daniel has once again been called up for Trinidad and
Tobago's 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Trinidad head coach Otto Pfister named Daniel as part of a preliminary group of sixteen players
that will train in the country Monday and Tuesday of next week.
