Los Puerto Rico Islanders se proclamaron campeones del CFU Club Champions Cup 2010 de la
Caribbean Football Union (CFU), la entidad que rige el fútbol en la región.
Esta es la primera vez en la historia en que un equipo puertorriqueño gana una copa en un torneo
organizado por CONCACAF o la CFU, organismo subordinado a la CONCACAF, que se encarga de la
administración y representación del fútbol caribeño.
The CFU Qualifying Tournament for the 2010-2011 CONCACAF Champion's League Preliminary Phase
kicks-off on Friday March 5, 2010.
A total of 15 teams from Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Antigua, Dominica, Saint Vincent & the
Grenadines, Suriname and Guyana; will participate for the 2010 Caribbean Cup.

CONCACAF announced that the four Caribbean teams still in the hunt for the final place in the
CONCACAF U-20 Championship will square off in Suriname from Jan. 19-23.
Bermuda, Guyana, Netherland Antillies and Suriname, who all finished in second place in their
Caribbean qualifying groups, will play a round-robin style tournament at Andre Kamperveen Stadium
in Paramaribo.
