AC Milan has had good times and bad times under Silvio Berlusconi. The Italian prime minister
has brought trophies and success to the rossoneri, but he has also dragged Milan into times of
little money and negative results. This current period can't be described as a prosperous one for
AC Milan, old players, a new coach, and little money to spend has hurt the red half of Milan
results-wise, but now Berlusconi has announced his plans for the club.
Bom dia! Do allow Senhor Mourinho's gallery of facial expressions to
help you determine the rest of your day. The semi-sneezing third one will probably do well against
Botox Berlusconi if used with some measure of precaution i.e. when he is leaving
the plastic surgeon's clinic.

While the transfer market hasn't been too busy with big signings, it's slowly been spreading
that two big strikers will be moving to the Serie A for next season. Ibrahimovic and Adriano could
be returning to the league which made them famous, but to different teams. The two ex-Inter Milan
players also find themselves in very different situations, one returning from a high, and one from
a low.
It is well known that Milan are not in the financial position to adequately revamp their aging
squad this summer. But, at the same time, it is vital that they at least attempt to inject some
much needed quality into their squad if Berlusconi and Galliani have any desire for Milan to
succeed next season.
Ah, cheeky Materazzi. Always out to create trouble and grab attention. He did it right this time
with the caricature mask of Botox Berlusconi. Come on now, Milanistas...
even you have to admit it was a pretty good effort on his part. "It was a college prank for
the Derby, nothing more.
So Sao Paulo's resident funnyman Hernanes, is looking at three proposals from
top clubs in Europe and is finally, finally, ready to leave Brazil for European shores.
After that Barca hoo-ha last year, he says : "I'm 24 to 25 years, and I think that now is
time.
Couple more things out there in the deadline aftermath:
- Pique wants a new Barca deal.
- Sunderland confirms move for Benjani.
- Fergie doesn't regret Beckham sale.
- Milan switch by Mancini angers Berlusconi.
- Christian Gomez dumped by D.C.
- Bayern defender sold for the fans.
Step away Laporta ... you don't want to be anywhere near Sepp
Blatter, the ignorant velho! Yet again, he's gone out to say some insensitive
merda about John Terry's cheating scandal... at an IOC gathering. There's
been a huge outcry from futbolitas all over the world after he made an rather unnecessary
reference to Latinos.
In Part 5 of our interview series The Blog Files, Just
Football catches up with AC Milan Blog to discuss Serie A, Berlusconi and
the importance of being Nesta:
First, tell the readers of Just Football a bit about yourself.
Well, my name is Frank Tigani and I currently live in Brisbane, Australia.
It's been a perculiar, unpredictable season for Milan as the side have endured great levels of
torment from humiliating defeats to the likes of Inter and Manchester United, and they have found
themselves looking desperately blunt on other occasions, often with dramatic late goals saving them
from further embarrassment.

It was recently confirmed that AC Milan and the Brazilian coach Leonardo will part, while in the
press conference Leonardo was calm and seemed happy with his decision, it's strange to see the
young manager leave so quickly.
AC Milan have an aging squad, but within the team there are three young stars to build upon: the
first is Alexandre Pato, the young Brazilian striker, the second is Thiago Silva, the promising
center-back, and the third would be Leonardo.
A bit of exciting news has hit the press regarding AC Milan and their coach Leonardo who has
resigned as coach of the club. I've got an article up on Serie A Talk which delves into the
decision and the possible replacements, so be sure to check it out here.
Also a bit of a preview for La Liga and Serie A and who could win the titles
La Liga
Barcelona are just a point ahead of Real Madrid and the Catalans will be playing the Real
Valladolid who's fighting against relegation.
Milan defeated fallen giants Juventus 3-0 in a match with no consequence to the Serie A title
race yet it served as the proper farewell for coach Leonardo who managed to do well despite the
lack of depth in the squad and the limited resources.
The Rossoneri only spent on Klaas-Jan Huntelaar who turned out to be a flop and was unimpressive
forcing Leonardo to confine the Dutchman to the bench and use Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello as
his starting duo in attack.
AC Milan president came out with quite the interesting statement about his team after a
political meeting. While it doesn't seem like a direct attack at Leonardo, AC Milan's coach for
last season, it's still a statement which shows that Berlusconi is not happy with the way things
are happening at the rossoneri.
There has been much speculation about Ibrahimovic's next move as people were expecting the
Swedish striker to make a move away from Camp Nou but after Ibra had publicly stated that he wishes
to stay with Barcelona, no one was really sure as to what will happen with the striker.
With Inter Milan being the first club expected to have the most potential in signing Ibrahimovic
in which he would be re-united with his former club again, it now seems that AC-Milan are leading
the race as Vice-President of the club Adiano Galliana went on to state their negotiations to sign
Ibra are "officially open".
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has officially signed for AC Milan, after he, Raiola, Rosell and Galliani have
been wrapped up in the final negotiations at Camp Nou all evening. The deal is worth twenty five
million (to be paid over three years) which is what - a quarter? a third? somewhere in between? -
of what we actually paid for him.
Reading David's post over at STO's sister site intermilanfanclub. com about Brazilian forward
Kaka's potential exit from Real made me sit down and think what happened to one of the decade's
best attacking midfielders.
Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Leite or Kaka if you like was the toast of the football world just
three years ago.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic plays striker for the Serie A's AC Milan.
Ever since making a move to Italy, it seems as though Ibra's mouth has been flapping non-stop.
His latest bash... 'Milan is better than Barca.' Although Milan is definitely a solid team, we
here at SJ can't say we agree with you, Ibra.
AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who began his second spell at the San Siro after falling
out with manager Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, claims that it was irresistable to decline an offer
from a club that has a superior history to Barcelona.
Despite speculation linking him away from Catalunya for months, the Swede remained vocal about
his commitment to cementing a place in Barca's line-up before an approach from the
Rossoneri convinced him that it was the right time to move.
"El Milán de Sacchi cambió para siempre el fútbol con una nueva forma de
defender"
La frase es de Emilio Butragueño, que sufrió en sus carnes una forma
colectiva perfecta de defender.
El Milán de Arrigo Sacchi fue el mejor equipo del mundo desde 1989 hasta 1995,
ya bajo la dirección de Fabio Capello.
