Manchester City vs Manchester United 2012 FA Cup Highlights 2-3 Goals Video Kolarov Aguero Welbeck
Rooney is a post from Soccer Blogger.
Without a fuss in Sunday's 2-0 win over Swansea City, Wayne Rooney strolled off, looking
resigned, and accepted his substitution. Manchester United were bringing on Dimitar Berbatov for
the last 10 minutes of a game that had already been won and just as Rooney was coming off, he
received a warm ovation.
Over the weekend, reports linking Spurs with a £5m move for former striker Dimitar Berbatov
began to emerge once again. We'd already covered this story on a number of occasions so didn't
comment at the time but it's interesting to look at the latest suggestions from the Bulgarian
media.
Firstly, here's what the player's agent had to say about his client's situation at Old
Trafford,
"Dimitar will be able to look for a new team during the summer and United's management assured
us that they will not obstruct us in that," said Emil Danchev.
There has been a lot of talk recently about bringing the Fulham striker/winger Clint Dempsey to
Old Trafford. While I cannot argue that he is having a phenomenol season, I don't see this as a
viable option For Manchester United on many levels:
Too Much Competition
For those of you touting Dempsey as a Red Devil,
consider what United actually NEEDS is creativity in the central midfield, not another goal
scorer.
Fernando Torres may have been celebrating winning the Champions League with Chelsea this past
weekend, but his future with the club is up in the air after he expressed severe disappointment in
not starting in the final.
Torres said being on the bench at the start of Chelsea's game versus Bayern Munich this past
Saturday was possibly the biggest disappointment in his life.
The future of Dimitar Berbatov continues to be the subject of intense media speculation. The £30m
striker is out of contract next summer and is therefore free to talk to would be suitors. The
former Spurs striker has been linked to CSKA Moscow, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen. Last
month, Ferguson hinted that he was ready to activate a clause in the Bulgarian's contract; one that
would
The two teams have been confirmed for today.Bosingwa starts at left-back, Cahill makes his debut
and Essien returns for first start of the season.
Chelsea:
Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Bosingwa, Essien, Meireles, Malouda, Sturridge, Torres and Mata.

It seemed as though Chicharito gave Sir Alex the 'Evil Eye' as
he discussed Dimitar Berbatov's current situation at Man United's Europa League
press conference last night. We're just speculating of course, but you know Chicha
was dying to yell out some dramatically rehearsed lines from a telenovela.
Dimitar Berbatov is leaving United this summer but insists he would never behave like Carlos
Tevez has since leaving the club.
"Tevez did it out of spite," Berbatov told BG TV. "But I wouldn't do
something like that. I had the opportunity to sign for City but I chose United.
Dimitar Berbatov will leave Manchester United this summer after playing in just 12 league games
this season. He still managed an impressive return of 7 goals but after being the league's top
scorer last season, it is obviously time to move on.
Berba's agent, Emil Danchev, has claimed that the Bulgarian has no interest in playing for
another English team, and yesterday said that he would be open to a move to PSG, who finished 2nd
in France this season.

Manchester United 2-3 Blackburn Rovers Premier League 31st December 2011
With a starting 11 which included Rafael in midfield and Michael Carrick at centre-half (and
without Wayne Rooney), this was never going to be a vintage Manchester United performance.

David De Gea's horrendous flapping at a corner led to Grant Hanley following up on his header by
bulling through to the ball again for Blackburn's winner and his debut Premier League goal. It was
a shocking win for the cellar dwellers and it completely knocked the sails off the celebratory mood
enveloping Old Trafford before the game on the occasion of Sir Alex's 70th birthday.

While watching Liverpool take on Oldham last night, I couldn't help but notice a much bigger
deal (footballwise) going on in the media world a leaked copy of tomorrow's front page of the
Independent, claiming that Wayne Rooney might be on his way out of Manchester United that had
somehow found itself causing a big stir on Twitter.
Manchester United's Mexican striker, Javier Hernandez, acknowledged the need to improve his
quality if he wants to compete with the strikers his club possessed at the moment.
Although injuries has been Hernandez's main obstacle in reprising last season's performance, but
the 23-years-old stated that the competition is harder this season especially with Danny Wellbeck's
arrival from Sunderland.
I read a comment made by Carlo Ancelotti yesterday about possible transfer targets and when
Fernando Torres' name came up I immediately thought bollocks!. I thought straight away that the
press would make his comments out to be something that they aren't and when I woke up this morning
I was proved right.
I might be clutching at straws a little, but there's a small amount of evidence to suggest that
our best results against Manchester United in recent times come during difficult periods.
Now is certainly one of those periods. After we looked like recovering a season that looked lost
as soon as it started, we are now being shown up for our weaknesses again, with the recent defeat
to Swansea feeling like another of many 'final straw' moments that we've experienced in recent
seasons; another on the long list of new lows.
Very interesting news emerging from Paris. PSG Coach Carlo Ancelotti is claiming that he has
been offered Chelsea striker Fernando Torres. Of course Chelsea have maintained that Torres is not
for sale so there is a very high likelihood that the deal won't go through.
That said, with notable Chelsea strikers Drogba and Kalou having linked up with their national
side for the African Cup of Nations, Torres has been gifted the perfect opportunity to prove
himself.
NOTICIAS
There's nothing a little mid-match Tango won't do for you just ask Valencia's
Pablo Hernandez! The striker was highly instrumental in Los Che's 4-1
Copa del Ray win over city rival Levante last night setting up the goals and
missing a few for himself.

Manchester United's £30 million signing Dimitar Berbatov is increasingly growing tired of
warming the bench for the Premier League champions. Berbatov who was linked with a move back to his
old club Bayer Leverkusen in the summer and winter transfer windows has only made 11 appearances
for united this season 8 of them coming off that bench.
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Dimitar Berbatov is set to leave Old Trafford in the
summer.
Berbatov has found first-team places difficult to come due to the play of Hernandez and Welbeck
and on the eve of a last-16 Europa League second leg tie with Athletic Bilbao, Ferguson confirmed
the Bulgarian striker is set to leave in the summer.
Manchester United's record signing Dimitar Berbatov is set for an exit from Old Trafford this
summer. There has been lot of speculation about his future but now its confirmed that he's leaving.
