Gameweek 24 with it double matches went very well, my tips for fantasy premier league performed
admirably, and that's always nice. I even hit the 100 points mark I was after with 113 points.
But it's again time for another gameweek, and let's see if I can succeed as well this week as the
previous.

You have a woman's touch, Lord Berba...
A typically elegant piece of tekkers by Dimitar Berbatov, as spotted last night during Man Utd's
great escape at Blackpool; Berba is the artist to Rooney's artisan. It's a triffic blend for
United.
Javier Chicharito Hernandez scored the match winner for Manchester United in a narrow 2-1 win over
West Bromwich Albion on January 1, 2011. Hernandez, a second half substitute for Dimitar Berbatov,
took advantage of some sloppy defending from West Brom to head home from a corner. Not the
flashiest of goals, but a very important [.
Manchester United 2 – Stoke 1 (Premier League, Enero 4, 2010)
Berbatov becomes only the third player in Premier League history to score three hat tricks in
one season. He joins van Nistelrooy and Alan Shearer.
United wasted no time as Berbatov scored a header in the first two minutes of play off a flick
from O'Shea. The man who replaced Rafael, who is out due to a suspension.

Anderson has revealed that he still feels some discomfort with his knee following his long term
injury but that his fitness is much improved.
Our midfielder acknowledges that good fitness is a priority in the Premiership but that it
shouldn't be the be all and end all.
"Of course it's a priority, but I think it's more important to make the ball do the
work," he said.
Okay, the travel has ended for a few weeks so we are going back to a full schedule of entries
starting now. Of course, now isn't the best time to be at a full schedule because there's really
not a hell of a lot going on. Oh, sure there's a lot of domestic cup action but those are just
glorified exhibitions, at least for the top clubs and at least until the semifinals.
Blackpool vs Manchester United Bloomfield Road, Blackpool- January 25, 2011 Final score:- Blackpool
2-3 Manchester United ( Cathcart,Campbell/ Berbatov*2, Hernandez) A brilliant second half comeback
from Manchester United allows the Red Devils to beat Blackpool 3-2 at Bloomfield Road after
trailing 2-0 at the lemon break.
A man who first came to Manchester United a decade ago is without doubt one of the secrets behind
the success that Sir Alex Ferguson and his coaching staff have brought to the club. Apart from

Manchester United's line-up is a bit of a worrying one today: Kuszczak, Neville, Rio, Vidic,
Evra, Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson, Rooney, Berbatov, Obertan.
Bench: Michael Owen, Chicharito, Fabio da Silva, Jonny Evans, Darron Gibbson, Bebe, Ben
Amos.
Let's not forget that West Brom took a well deserved point from us at Old Trafford this season
and are no mugs.
That sucks. Just when it looked like he was going to get started with the goalscoring again.
Then again, he's always been one to recover faster than expected. Just don't rush back prematurely.
At least Berba is scoring. And we also have a certain Chicharito who has a knack for goals. So,
it's not entirely doom and gloom.
If I could read the minds of players, this could (or should) be some of their new year's
resolutions:
Ando: I resolve to keep playing like a raging bull in the middle of the field and stay after
practice to work on my shooting and finishing in the box.
Berba: I resolve to stay positive even when if I get dropped to the bench after scoring a
million goals in one game.
Manchester United made the small jaunt south to the Hawthornes to k ick off the new year in the
English top flight. The undefeated visitors topped the league table. West Brom were near its
bottom.
Having not scored from open play since March, Rooney's first touch today brought the opening goal.
As usual the English league is dominated by four. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal
and Chelsea.
Below are each team's chances of glory with a quick tactical paragraph to explain each
squad.
Manchester City
This super power have money to burn, they can buy anybody they want at any price.
Seeking for more playing time in order to improve his personal qualities, Manchester United's
youngster, Federico Macheda, looks set to leave the club as his agent has already confirmed the
possibility and according to the rumors it looks like the player is indeed heading back to
Italy.
The latest reports even claims that Macheda is set to face a new experience with Sampdoria for
the next 6 months.
There aren't many things which can put the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group (seriously,
that's its name) into the main stage spotlight. Those things include, but are not limited to,
brawls, corruption, ultra violence, transfer foibles and Things Vaguely Related To Dimitar
Berbatov, for a thousand, Alex.
MANCHESTER, England — Javier Hernandez and Nani scored either side of Dean Whitehead's effort as
Manchester United moved three points clear at the top of the English Premier League with a 2-1
victory over Stoke at Old Trafford here on Tuesday. A much-changed United made hard work of
defeating a team they had beaten in [.
Nani is a man who has attracted criticism from the footballing world as well as from his own
fans since his move to England, with many perceiving him to be selfish and lacking the skill and
talent that the player himself seems to believe he possesses.
With direct comparisons made to the largely incomparable Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani was never going
to find it easy to win over the United faithful quickly but it would seem that, slowly but surely,
he's doing just that after a solid start to the season that culminated in a stunning curled winner
last night against Stoke.
Their dominance of English football over the last 15/20 years means they'll always be
title contenders. Can they steal Chelsea's crown of champions this year?...
Is this what we will be seeing in May?.. I think so
After the last gameweek, it looks like it will definitely be the case.
Former Liverpool midfielder Don Hutchison has blasted the club's star striker Fernando Torres and
urged under-pressure manager Roy Hodgson to sign a top-class centre-forward.
Torres has been way below his high standards this season and his form is one of the reason's
Liverpool are languishing in the bottom half of the table in what has been a disastrous season so
far.
Dimitar Berbatov was asked about Roy Hodgson's situation at Liverpool ahead of our FA Cup clash
against them this weekend. The Liverpool manager is likely to be sacked following relegation form
which has seen The Biggest Club In England (TM) drop to four points above the relegation zone.
The last time Berbatov played against Liverpool he scored a hattrick against them, and insists
he is far more concerned with doing the business for United than he is Liverpool's manager.
While one of the biggest moves of the January transfer window happened recently, with Toni going
to Juventus, there have been plenty of other, quieter moves which have gone unmentioned. Mostly
they are young, aspiring Italians joining clubs on loan so that they can get some playing time to
improve.
The only thing in common between Manchester United and Liverpool going into today's FA Cup third
round game is that they both have 18 League Championships each. It's the only all Premier-League
clash of the 3rd round, and it's a delicious irony that it has to be these two teams.

Goals:
Giggs 2' (pen)
So much for a storybook return.
1st minute, Webb gives a penalty for Berbatov's clear dive. 32nd minute, Webb shows Gerrard a
straight red for a tackle similar to one Rafael went unpunished for.
Out of the FA Cup, but a certainly a performance worthy of praise.
As predicted, today ended up being all about Kenny Dalglish's return once the Proactiv ads ended
that's all we heard about. Not negative of course, as it's what most of us wanted. It was as close
to surreal as things can get in football, and it was a joy to behold.
On to the next round after scraping past Liverpool 1-0. The game was decided on a penalty that
really wasn't a penalty, but we did look the better side and this was aided by Gerrard's dismissal
midway through the first half.
Impressions as follows:
1. Surprised to see Evans in the lineup when an in-form Smalling was available for
selection.
1. Beating Liverpool is always brilliant. Knocking them out of the FA Cup is great. Destroying
all the good feeling and positivity that came with Kenny Dalglish's appointment is even better.
Although I'm frustrated we didn't totally destroy them today. We dominated the game entirely, as
you would expect for a side with an extra man for an hour, but just weren't clinical enough in the
box.
Manchester United are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a 1-0 home win against
ten-man Liverpool, while Tottenham and Chelsea easily progrssed against lower league sides.
Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford marked the return of manager Kenny Dalglish as a replacement
for the departed Roy Hodgson in the away dugout, but the Scot's second tenure at the club got off
to the worst possible start when his side conceded a penalty with less than a minute played.

Ryan Babel could be in trouble over his Twitter rant, with the FA set to launch disciplinary
action.
The Liverpool winger cut a frustrated figure following the Reds' 1-0 defeat to arch-rivals
Manchester United in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
With the tie having been settled by a controversial penalty, won by Dimitar Berbatov following a
first-minute challenge from Daniel Agger, the match officials at Old Trafford have come in for
criticism.
Sir Alex Ferguson claims Dimitar Berbatov did nothing wrong in winning Manchester United's
match-winning penalty against Liverpool today, but defender Rio Ferdinand is not convinced ref
Howard Webb was right.
Returning Reds boss Kenny Dalglish disputed whether Daniel Agger's challenge on the Bulgarian
striker was a foul but his United counterpart had no doubt Berbatov was brought down after just 30
seconds at Old Trafford.
Kenny Dalglish has blasted the penalty decision that cost him a winning start to life as
Liverpool's caretaker manager.
Ryan Giggs' first-minute spot-kick, awarded after Daniel Agger's challenge forced Dimitar Berbatov
to go to ground, handed Manchester United a 1-0 win in the FA Cup third-round tie at Old Trafford.
Call it luck, call it bias. Either way, Manchester United have enjoyed a remarkably fortunate start
to 2011. Howard Webb's two debateable, game-changing decisions that went against Liverpool at Old
Trafford were just the latest events to go United's way since the turn of the year.
Firstly came a woeful performance at West Brom on New Year's day, during which Gary Neville
escaped punishment after his trip as the last man was ignored by the referee when most thought it
should have resulted in a red card and a penalty to the Baggies.
Wow, even after a frustrating game against Manchester United and Berbatov proving that he is as
opportunistic as strikers come, nothing brought me more pleasure than seeing Kenny Dalglish back in
the dug-out once more. After some 20 years, it is a surreal experience even if it was on
television.
Sir Alex Ferguson has today revealed that when dropping players to the bench for certain games,
he will make sure he has explained why.
For example, Premier League's top scorer Dimitar Berbatov was recently left out for United's
game against Arsenal and the manager is always rotating between Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick,
Anderson and even Darron Gibson in the centre of midfield.
