Arsenal suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Tottenham as the Spurs broke a
9 year winless streak against their bitter enemies in an emphatic fashion. The deserved 5-1 win was
the first time in 21 matches that the Gunners lost to their North London rivals, and was enough to
propel Juande Ramos' rejuvenated side into the finals of the Carling Cup where they will face the
winner of tomorrow's match between Chelsea and Everton.
Both final spots in this year's Carling Cup are still up for grabs, as neither Arsenal nor
Tottenham grabbed a decisive victory at the Emirates today. Chelsea are up 2-1 against Everton in
the other semifinal, but will still face a tough away game at Goodison park before advancing to the
finals.
Tottenham looked set to win today's entertaining encounter against their greatest rivals for the
first time in eight years, after going up 1-0 in the first half thanks to Jermaine Jenas.

it is still possible his Bulgarian star will leave. Pretty bloody unlikely, but still possible
nevertheless.
The January transfer window has swung open and not unexpectedly the Red Devils are once again the
subject of plenty of speculation. Berbatov's name keeps on cropping up in reports linking him with
a move to United. The latest stories centre on the Spurs manager hinting that it will cost the Reds
over £30m to acquire the Bulgarian.
Dimi Berbatov and his arse-clown of an Agent who seems to splutter out transfer rumours for his
client with every breath, make a great pair. And now, despite claiming that Berby would like to
join a big club, agent provocateur Emil Dantchev has stood by his comments, telling Sky Sports
News: "I am [.
