Most casual observers of Premier League football attribute Manchester United's trilogy of
consecutive championships to be largely based on an ingredient no longer present: Cristiano
Ronaldo.

Galactico's emergence into the world class certainly paralleled United's resurgence against what
was Chelsea's brief dominance of the top division, but his influence was not absolute.

Jeff Winter has been causing a bit of a fuss of late with his seemingly totally biased and
negative opinions against our manager.
No manager has ever been given a touchline ban for comments he made about a referee but Winter
went as far as claiming Ferguson should have been given a FIFA stadium ban!

So how bad was the Juande Ramos and Damien Comolli regime at Spurs? Well it took almost £150m
on new players in the 16 months to undo the damage down by Ramos and Comolli.
Spurs spent £119.3m in the year ending June 2009, with another £29.4m invested since on the
likes of Peter Crouch, Sebastien Bassong and Niko Kranjcar.

As mostly everyone knows by now, Man United lost 1-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge Sunday after
John Terry scored a controversial goal in the 76th minute.
Different articles on different sites will all tell you more or less the same thing: United had
several major decisions go against them and probably didn't deserve to lose.

Cristiano Ronaldo is irreplaceable according to most pundits if not all of them; and the signing
of Antonio Valencia in the summer wasn't to replace the talisman but was instead brought because of
the quality in which he had.
Valencia only scored three goals for Wigan last year, and this time around with United, not even
halfway through the season, he has scored that many.

Fabio Capello has named his England squad for the November 14th friendly vs Brazil in Qatar.
There was a bit of complaining in the run up, with Fergie suggesting the whole thing was a waste of
time, and Rafa Benitez asking that Steven Gerrard be excused.
Capello ignored Fergie and selected as many Man Utd players as he wanted (including Wes Brown,
who I'm glad to see back in the squad).

much more importance.

said a cheerful Darren Bent yesterday. Hmm, that's interesting mate. Then why did you sign, knowing
that you faced an 'uphill battle'?

already, questions still remain as to whether Arsenal can maintain their form throughout the

It should have finished up 5-0 to the Champions, the fact that it didn't was down to one thing -
poor finishing. Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney eventually got their names on the score-sheet
with two fine second-half goals against a workmen-like Blackburn Rovers side that looked short of
ideas. Right from the kick-off it seemed as though the visitors were playing for a draw.

Dimitar Berbatov has been widely praised for his performance in our 2-0 victory over Blackburn
yesterday. It was his goal that put United ahead in the second half after receiving the ball with
his back to goal but expertly turning and slotting it in to the corner.
He is pleased that our patient play paid off and confesses of the relief he feels whenever we
score.

of 2 – 0 didn't flatter the home team as they notched up their third win in a row between the
local rivals.
