So that was how the season ended for Real Madrid. Sadly, it's another bridesmaid finish for us with
the eternal rival taking all the plaudits and the bigger one, among the 2 domestic titles that were
up for grabs at the start of the season. Nevermind that the Copa Del Rey trophy pre-Sergio Ramos
looks far more elegant to the gangly and grotesque-looking La Liga trophy (complete with studs) –
winning La Liga is still the ultimate proof that Barcelona this season were the better team.
Barcelona have won the Spanish Super Cup for the tenth time after a brilliant Lionel Messi
scored two goals in a 3-2 home win against Real Madrid, earning the European champions a 5-4
aggregate victory. The game was marred by two red cards to Real Madrid players as the bad blood
between the two sides carried over from last season.
It was an El Clasico: Real Madrid vs. Barcelona.
.One team, pressed, controlled possession and created chances, while the other one tried to keep up
and with their first 2 opportunities to strike, scored 2 goals on the back of the super talents of
their players. Which one was Real Madrid?
Oezil has also joined his teammates in praising Barcelona for their title win against Manchester
United in the finals of the Champions league 2010-2011 at Wembley Stadium. And, if you must know,
Messi scored. Pedro and Villa also scored. They literally beat the bejesus out of Manchester
United.
FC Barcelona won this seasons Spanish Super Cup in the end of a sensational match which ended
3-2 in favor of the host at Camp Nou. Two goals from Messi and one from Iniesta took Guardiola to
yet another title. The match also some disgraceful scenes at the end courtesy of the fight started
by Real madrid players.

acquisition of players like Mata and keeping van Persie fit will challenge for the title next
season.

Hilarious..I slept with my Real Madrid Jersey on New Year's Eve as part of my wish for

George Clooney would be the best man to play him in a biopic).
Now THAT's what a friendly's supposed to be like!. Instead of a lone insane fan willing to charge a
moving golf-cart, you get hoardes of fans putting a stop to the operations of a shopping mall as
they trail not pretty boy Cristiano Ronaldo... but Jose Mourinho (who supposedly insisted that

Friendlies are supposed to be good fun, and this one was. In front of flag-waving supporters in
Montpellier, France created a number of chances, and Chile certainly had moments of their own.
Benzema and Martin were standout players for France. Marvin Martin is a fun player to watch. He
has a very quick release when he spots a potential pass.
It was his debut for Man City, and Maradona's 'yerno' did not waste his time scoring a
brace in last night's 4-0 win over Swansea. It's weird not seeing him in Atleti
colours, but we're guessing Kun had been seeing blue (cough *Chelsea*) the whole of last season
anyway.
