The Second Round of games in the battle to make the Euro 2012 Finals in Poland and
Ukraine were fought out to-night and it didn't go well for some of the favourites to-night. England
maintained their100% record with a 3-1 win away to the Swiss with the troubled Wayne Rooney
grabbing the opener, the Rep of Ireland also maintained their unbeaten start to their campaign
beating minnows Andorra 3-1 at the Aviva Stadium, while Scotland left it late to beat minnows
Liechtenstein at Hampden Park scoring the winner in the Seventh minute of injury-time in a 2-1
victory.
'They'll only whack Mourinho Tomorrow Because of this Angel! Thank YOU!' says
Pipita.Last night , Real Madrid took a trip to France to play their 2nd Champions League
group stage match. Auxerre's stadium had an English feel to it with its stands right up to the edge
of the pitch filled with rabid fans singing, cheering and booing boisterously as the match unfolded
last night.

Jose Mourinho - Maybe he's more Voldermort than Harry Potter...?.So here we are left to
ponder for an extra weekend (isn't it kinda stupid to start the La Liga Season only to let the
International break cut it off on the following weekend?... anyway, I digress) what happened to
Real Madrid in what was supposed to be the glorious arrival of the Special One in Spain.
After every World Cup there are players that get noticed for their performances, sign on to big
contracts, and then never live up to the hype. In fact that is more the case than not. After
watching the first several performances from Mesut Ozil you can already see that in his case he is
in the divine minority.
Let's be honest here, most football transfer rumours originate in the minds of gawky journos who
desperately make up this rubbish to stop them having to write another feature on how bloody good
Paul Scholes is. Case in point of this rubbish – Andy Carroll to Tottenham?! Christ, what next,
Tony Hibbert to Barcelona?
Watching Real Madrid These Days Feels like this...So here I am on my lunchbreak at
work trying to figure out what to say about what happened to my beloved Real Madrid last Saturday
Night. It was weekend of ‘upsets' and frustrations. .Saturday night at the Ong House's TV started
at 7:40pm to take in Chelsea vs.
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho addressed the media one day before their Champions League
match against Auxerre. He had some choice words to say about the absence of Pedro Leon in the
Real Madrid squad but other than that his comments were pretty standard and politically correct,
but always entertaining!

The Road to Euro 2012 continues on Tuesday...
Euro 2012 qualifying continues tomorrow (Tuesday, September 7) after the most countries kicked
off their qualification campaign last Friday. And even though we are two years away from the
final tournament and its only matchday 2- some countries are already under pressure to get
results.
Bosnia France. A must win for Les Bleus, and win they did. France churned out a 2 goal victory
in Sarajevo today reviving their Euro 2012 qualification hopes. Finally something went right for
France. It's our first win in 8 international matches. The first win + clean sheet since November
2009. Hopefully France can continue to win in the future.
The Manchester United game was one of uneasiness and dread. The white puffy clouds populated the
blue sky at the onset, but by the time Berbatov curled in a far post shot, traces of gray tainted
the sky. The clouds lost their puff, merged, and turned ever darker. Paul Scholes committed fouls.
More so than usual.
Carvalho was happy with his rare chance to show off his guns last Saturday..Jose
Mourinho made his Bernabeu debut with a signature 1-0 win. The win had the hallmarks of a Mourinho
match: a win at home (as can be expected given his 8-year undefeated record at home) and a 1-0
scoreline (nevermind my 2-0 prediction), scored by a non-forward making a late run into the box.
Another mouth watering Group G encounter takes place tomorrow when Real Madrid host Ajax at the
Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. A couple of years back, this would be the match to watch. Real Madrid
and Ajax are two of Europe's most successful clubs however, over the years, they have been reduced
to just spectators in this tournament.
It was supposedly only 2 days between our match at the Anoeta and our return to the Bernabeu to
face Espanyol but it sure as hell felt like longer than that. And then some... And I blame the
media for it... as if our dour & dull performance last weekend wasn't enough..
.
Mourinho & Portugal IssuesMourinho's tenure at Real Madrid is merely a few months
old.
Kaka, Benzema, Rooney, Ozil, Cech, Iniesta, Chiellini... and you. Together, We Are

Did I just witness a key moment in Ligue 1 history? I guess we won't know until the end of the
season, but that won't stop Saint-Etienne fans from celebrating like they just doomed their local
rivals, Olympique Lyonnais, to relegation in Ligue 2. To the more objective
observer, it's a long way from that.
