Alright it was only a point, and alright we were a bit sloppy at the back, but this morning who
really cares.
Cesc Fabregras reportedly said before the match that Spurs couldn't beat Arsenal Ladies. Well go
stuff yourself mate - if last night is anything to go by your ladies must be one hell of a team
seeing as we stuck four past your first team.
Modric, Lennon, Bentley, Huddlestone, Bale, Pavlyuchenko, Campbell, Corluka, Woodgate, Gomes, Bent,
and on and on. There are so many fun, exciting young players on the current Spurs side and for me
they are the most exciting team to watch. You don't know if they are going to beat Manchester
United one week or lose to Stoke City the next week.
Martin Samuel from the London Times writes about how England are lacking in quality forwards and I
agree with him. Wayne Rooney can't carry the team upfront by himself, and he really does seem to be
more of a setup man then an out and out finisher. With Michael Owen not being fit again, I think
Fabio Capello needs to look at either Jermain Defoe or Darren Bent.
Robbie Keane has shocked Tottenham supporters as he today demanded a move to Liverpool. With Peter
Crouch likely leaving the club, Keane would be a welcome addition. Tottenham are in a striker
crisis following this piece of news. Both Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov have now publicly
declared their desire to leave while Darren Bent has been a flop at White Hart Lane.
How good has Spurs' transfer activity actually been? I felt having seen a few
"anti-Spurs" blogs, it was only fair that the playing field should be levelled out with a
pro-Spurs blog.
Tottenham are stupid. What is the point in spending $40+ million pounds when you don't try and play
well in most fixture. Tottenham's mentality, rather than their talent will cause them to miss out
not only on their dream of Champions League football, but Europe altogether. Finishing even in the
top half will be a stretch, considering the quality of the League this year.
