At 4-11-11, the New England Revolution hold the worst record in the east. And they hold the ignominous honor of being the team the Union most thoroughly thrashed this season.

In a match barred by poor defending, bizarre officiating, and lots of goals, the Philadelphia Union came back from a 4-1 deficit to earn a point at home against the last-place New England Revolution. And while their strong display in the second half allowed the Union to battle back to 4-4, the draw extended the team's winless streak to seven games.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution first team has struggled mightily over the past month to hold on to leads and the reserves looked destined to follow suit on Friday morning against Toronto FC after the visitors erased the Revs 1-0, 67th minute lead just seven minutes later.

tBG:There have been some recent additions to the Revolution offense.

Sebastien Le Toux scored his second goal of the game in the 92nd minute to cap a remarkable second-half comeback as the Philadelphia Union erased a three-goal halftime deficit en route to a 4-4 draw with the New England Revolution on Wednesday night at PPL Park.

It marked the third straight game in which the Revolution (4-11-12, 24 pts.

Goals abounded in Chester, Pennsylvania tonight as the New England Revolution and Philadelphia Union drew 4-4 on a wild evening that saw a three-goal lead reduced to nothing. The Revs went into the half up 4-1 after goals from all over the field, but they appeared to lose their swagger and retreat within themselves in the second half, allowing the Union to claw back into it and eventually level the score.

New England Manager Steve Nicol put it best: "Both teams were as bad defensively as each other."

In a game that featured eight goals—two by way of penalty kicks—the Union overcame a three-goal deficit to salvage a draw at home against the Eastern Conference bottom-dwelling Revolution on Wednesday night.

If third place FC Dallas expected an easy ride against the struggling New England Revolution, they were in for quite the surprise. The Revs (5-11-12, 27 points) grabbed – and held – an early lead through Shalrie Joseph before wrapping up a 2-0 win over the 2010 MLS Cup Finalist, Dallas (13-8-7, 46 points), with an 85th minute goal from Rajko Lekic.

When FC Dallas took on the New England Revolution on Saturday night it was supposed to be a mis-match. Even though they were visitors, FC Dallas were the heavy favorite, particularly against a New England side just three days removed from an embarrassing collapse that saw the Revs blow a 4-1 lead and settle for a 4-4 tie vs.

The New England Revolution went into PPL looking to get the win against an always boisterous 16,148 fans.

Come on now, Revs, don't go getting me all excited and optimistic again! Fool me once.. or.. err... 4 times.. shame on you, but fool me a 5th time... you get where I'm going. Needless to say, I was quite shocked to hear on Saturday night that won, against FC Dallas no less. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the game until last night, so forgive my delay in getting this piece up.

The New England Revolution will finish the season winless in the Pacific and Mountain time zones after they fell 3-0 to the Portland Timbers at Jeld-Wen Field tonight. The loss has all but mathematically ruled the Revolution out of the playoffs, while three points was exactly what Portland needed to keep their postseason hopes a very real possibility.

Once again based on a ten point scale with 1 being epic Fail, 10 being "godlike" and five meaning they didn't help but they didn't hurt.

• Eric Brunner- 7 - He did everything we needed him to do to secure a clean sheet and when he wasn't able to clean up the other defenders did.
• Futty Danso - 6 - Looked a little rusty out there but he made enough plays to keep the clean sheet, pulled a Cooper by being called offside twice on goal scoring opportunities.

So, last night sucked. To distract you from that, I can share with you final roster information - including salaries - for the New England Revolution. With the trade and transfer deadline having just passed, I feel this is more than appropriate.

First, a few interesting points:

• Milton Caraglio only makes $54,000 in guaranteed compensation.

The New England Revolution could not overcome a poor first-half performance as they fell 3-2 to the Chicago Fire in Bridgeview, Illinois this afternoon. The match was not lacking for excitement as the Fire jumped out to a 3-0 first-half lead via a penalty and two fast-break goals, but the Revs nearly stole a point at the end thanks to two quick-fire goals in the final five minutes.
