AGF midfielder Benny Feilhaber has bagged a hat trick, with two of the goals coming from the spot,
to see his side past Ekstra Bladet Cup foes Skive. Highlights are forthcoming, but may not be up
until tomorrow. One goal we aren't likely to see is the one by Helmond Sport handyman Charles
Kazlauskas in last night's KNVB Cup loss at Veendam.
The fourth round of the Danish Cup was drawn, giving Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus a clear path to the
quarterfinals while sending Michael Parkhurst and Nordsjaelland on tough trip to Odense.
Benny Feilhaber = the USA-Mexico rivalry, the dude choking him = CONCACAF
While not officially official, word on the street is that CONCACAF is set to approve a complete
re-structuring of its World Cup qualifying competition. This may not seem like that big of a deal
(the USMNT hasn't failed to qualify for a World Cup since 1986 after all), until you get to the
little part about the US and Mexico never playing each other under the new format.
While we're clearly late in joining this discussion, we feel this news is too significant to
pass up.
After a successful World Cup, in many regards, rumors swirled about big moves for our biggest
players. Landon Donovan was headed to Europe, Benny Feilhaber was going to escape the Danish
Second Division, and Michael Bradley, for the third year in a row, was an absolute certainty to
move to England.
- Michael Bradley scored Borussia Mönchengladbach's second goal in a 2-2 draw with Schalke.
Jermaine Jones started in the midfield for Schalke. Bradley's goal below:
- Benny Feilhaber scored the winning goal in Aarhus' 3-2 victory against HB Koge. HIGHLIGHTS
- Steve Cherundolo and Hannover are up to 3rd in the Bundesliga after their 1-0 victory against
Kaiserslautern.
Babajide Ogunbiyi and Viborg were unable to overcome an own-goal in their disappointing loss to
Fredericia while Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus remained in first place despite having the weekend off.
Babajide Ogunbiyi and Viborg will try to get back on track when they travel to Hjorring for Friday
night action while Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus can extend lead atop the league against lowly
Hvidovre.
Benny Feilhaber set up three goals for Aarhus in their rout of Hvidovre while Babajide Ogunbiyi and
Viborg were unable to take any points off of ten-man Hjorring.
Bolton @ Arsenal 9/11/10 Stu Holden was understandably excited heading into the match with
Arsenal, however after the match I don't believe Stu would say it was an enjoyable afternoon.
Holden started and played all 90 minutes for the Trotters, however the 3 fouls he took were not
enough as they fell 4-1 at Emirates Stadium with nearly 60,000 in attendance.
Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus will look to follow up the weekend's seven-goal performance continue
their strong run in 1. Division play when they visit Kolding on Wednesday.
Michael Parkhurst looks to make his return to the Nordsjaelland after missing time to injury while
Benny Feilhaber and Aarhus will try to carry their momentum to a win at Hobro.
[Photo: AGF]Try to say that fast five times... heh.On Friday, Ryan Guy hit a sweet opener as St.
Pats ousted FAI Cup holders Sporting Fingal from the draw with a 3-1 defeat. We do not yet have a
clip for that, but...AGF midfielder Benny Feilhaber's spot kick near the hour rescued a point for
the league pacesetters in their 1-1 draw with Hobro, and we do have that reel.
Benny Feilhaber came through in the clutch to help Aarhus secure an important road point while
Babajide Ogunbiyi and Viborg were unable to hang on in Roskilde.

Shinji Kagawa Player to Watch
Foreign players coming to play in the Bundesliga usually need some time to settle to the speed
and physical play of the league. New signing Shinji Kagawa, however, looks like he was born
to play in Dortmund.
Nothing cements a player in the hearts of the Borussia Dortmund faithful more than
winning the match against hated rivals Schalke 04 in the Revierderby.

If Michael Bradley is to help Borussia Moenchengladbach break their recent string of dreadful
performances, he'll likely have to outdo a fellow American central midfielder that he could play
alongside next month.
The third round of the Danish Cup was a success for all participating Americans, as each saw their
team advance to the next round, highlighted by a hat trick from Aarhus midfielder Benny Feilhaber.
Michael Parkhurst should be back in Nordsjaelland's starting lineup when they host Horsens while
Benny Feilhaber will hope to still have his scoring touch when Aarhus take on Koge.
Another weekend in Europe with a big match taking place on Sunday. Stuart Holden and Bolton play
host to Manchester United. Bolton were upset by Burnley in the League Cup at midweek and will look
to get back on track with a result in a difficult fixture. See the match live on Sunday at
7 a.m.

So last time we looked at Americans Abroad I focused on those guys that did not, and do not
play.
Benny Feilhaber scored a last-second winner for Aarhus against Koge while Michael Parkhurst and
Nordsjaelland blew past Horsens with a trio of goals to climb the Superliga standings.
