I came across an article on MLSSoccer.com earlier this morning and really thought it was worth
discussing. The article is about former MLSers and other Americans/Canadians abroad that should
return home to play in MLS. I can't say I disagree with many on this list and I have a couple more
that probably just need to suck it up and return home so they can actually see some playing time on
the field.

Lichaj...doing some serious clubbing too....
The Big Nasty, Eric Lichaj, acquitted himself well in a 2-1 Aston Villa loss to Tottenham
Hotspur going up against one of the best wingers in the Prem on Sunday, Gareth Bale.
You can ballpoint it that Lichaj is at least second on the rightback depth chart for 2014 at
this point and likely 2011 as well (despite some folks at ESPN suggesting Jonathan Spector already
has the starting 2014 spot locked-up.
With Christmas around the corner it isn't just Santa Claus making a list of those who have been
good this year.
Bob Bradley is making a list as well and in a few weeks we will find out which players he has
selected for the annual January U.S. national team training camp.
Hello and welcome to Yanks Abroad...the interesting transfer rumors edition. It is once again
that time of year, so please keep your transfer guide handy. Let's get into it. Everton @ Chelsea
12/4/10 Timmy H picked up a 41st minute yellow card after a thunderous collision with Nicolas
Anelka in the box, Drogba promptly smashed the PK into the net.
Camp cupcake invites are out...tomorrow. We know one guy already gearing up to cascade past the
San Fernando Valley into LAX.
Who's cupcaking in January?
Also, we'll be making the short hop on Virgin down from SFO to take in a practice at some point
and talk to the guys. We'll be at the Chile game as well.
Our final stab on what tomorrow's 10am PST roster will look like...yeah I know...3rd time we've
done this, but pits of info are coming AND this in the next step for US Soccer, c'mon, get excited!
From amongst one of our posts, we should cover most players.
Ream took out the competition in South Africa and became a must-have for January
*Also, don't think that Bob Bradley didn't notice or should have notcied the success that
Generation Adidas had just a few weeks ago, taking a lot of young offensive players and moving them
back to defense as necessary.
Stuart Holden has enjoyed a strong season for Bolton, perhaps stronger than we realized.
Holden has been named to the Guardian's English Premier League Team of the Season at the halfway
point after garnered the highest average rating among all EPL players. The Guardian's website has
reader-generated player rankings for all Premier League matches and Holden scored the highest
average of the season.
