Yesterday was a quiet day on the Eddie Johnson transfer rumor front. Today, though, we see two new
stories about possible destinations for the Wizards striker.
The first, is from Portugal, where Benfica look to be mounting a 3 million euros bid for Johnson to
partner him with Freddy Adu. The article has quotes from Eddie's agent saying that it would be a
good fit for Johnson because his friend Freddy is playing there.
Kansas City's Eddie Johnson has left U.S. national team camp in L.A. and is in serious negotiations
with English club Fulham. Even though I thought Derby or Benfica would be EJ's new home in the
coming weeks this news however doesn't surprise me one bit considering the number of American-born
players on Fulham's roster right now.
With the January transfer window now open, it's time to again hear all the rumors of where Eddie
Johnson will go to in Europe. In the Times online in the UK, it has a few of the parties that are
interested in the services of the Wizards striker.
