This season has not started the best for Everton, so far they have been unable to recapture the
form they showed last season in the league and sit a lowly 13th. Couple this with two heavy
defeats and the hands of Benfica in the Europa league and things aren't looking so rosy for David
Moyes and his men.

family, it's a good day, for Benfica to play here. This stadium for me is the best stadium in my
playing life.

With J Hutcherson -- Later today, Tim Howard and Everton get the opportunity to marginalize an
earlier result. That would be the 5-0 collapse at Benfica on October 22nd. A home win at Goodison
Park takes the gloss off what happened at Estadio da Luz. In the short-term, it even takes out
Benfica's goal differential since an Everton win puts them ahead on points in Group I.

To say the past few weeks have been tough for Merseyside's two Premier clubs is putting it
lightly.
Something must have been put in the water round Liverpool way as players of both Liverpool and
Everton have been dropping like flies. Those who remain have been charged with maintaining the same
high standards, and you have to say they have flattered to deceive.

Celtic and Rangers to run away from the Scottish Premier League and head for greener pastures.
