Okay, so she's not technically a WAG as such, but we couldn't help but notice that a rather
attractive, pouty, olive-skinned beauty keeps on cropping up on Chelsea's bench (not Paulo
Ferreira) this season and, as such, we felt obliged to do some 'research' (Google > Image Search
> 'Hot Chelsea physio').
Being a new comer in the Premier League sometimes isn't easy for any footballers especially for
those coming from different competition, but that doesn't seem to be the reason for Manchester
United young striker, Javier 'Chicarito' Hernandez, who had a pretty lively season in his first
year.

The 2011 MLS Combine is in the books, but before all of the focus turns towards where these guys
will be playing this season, we're looking back at the event's top performers.
Several of the top prospects did not participate in the Combine, but there were still many
players who showed considerably well over the three days worth of matches in sunny Ft.
As usual during any transfer window there is the constant mutterings from Spain about Cesc
Fabregas, and today's offering is from the Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff, who still works for the
European Champions. Many Arsenal fans are secretly hoping that, if their captain gets his wish to
rejoin his boyhood club, that he will spend [.
There were talking points galore on the first legs of the four MLS quarterfinal playoff series.
I tried to hit as many as possible in the SI.com review, which should be posted later today.
But I didn't get to one issue that's sitting out there, kind of by itself, like a shy kid at a
big, fancy dance.
Michael Bradley only started once in Jurgen Klinsmann's first five games in charge, but proved in
his second that Klinsmann may need him as much as his father had.
Frank Isola of Goal.com writes of the leadership, grit and playmaking that Bradley provided in the
US 3-2 victory away to Slovenia.
Ben Lederman, a U-11, has been invited to join FC Barcelona's youth Academy!
This will go down as a mark in US Soccer history!
He started his trial with the famed academy Monday, April 11, and just 4 training sessions
later, the Director of all 7 v 7 at the club, Andres Carrasco, had made a decision.

The crowd at Relient Stadium in Houston as well as the crowd watching around the world at home
all let out a collective gasp when Bob Bradley decided to make a change midway through a scoreless
semifinal. Screams of "WTF", "OMG" and of course the "#FireBradley" came down as Freddy Adu entered
the match.
No matter what Mourinho thinks about Real Madrid needing a striker or not. No matter what the
majority of Real Madrid fans believe about Real Madrid needing an extra bench striker. Cristiano
Ronaldo of Real Madrid thinks that Real Madrid do not need another striker. Real Madrid has been
linked with the like so Adebayor, [.
Souleymane Coulibaly got his Spurs career off to a flying start with a goal inside ten minutes
of his debut as a Spurs XI drew 2-2 with Brighton in Portugal.
Brighton went 2-0 up early on but a long range effort from Andros Townsend pulled one back to
see the youngsters go in for half time one goal down.
Mario Balotelli's remarkable talent for finding new ways to embroil himself in controversy
resurfaced on Manchester City's pre-season trip to Los Angeles when the Italian was substituted in
disgrace only 30 minutes into a friendly against LA Galaxy.
Balotelli then became involved in a touchline row with his manager, Roberto Mancini, and angrily
threw a water bottle on to the pitch after taking his seat among the substitutes.
Hot Prospects: 13 English young players to watch in 2012 is a post from: Just Football
Who says there's a dearth of English talent coming through at youth level? After
disappointment for England's youngsters at international level in 2011 here are 13
youngsters tipped for great things in 2012 and beyond courtesy of Aidan R, editor of
England Football Blog.
It's a tale of two strikers in the transfer columns today with one player insisting he has no
intention of joining Tottenham while another has given the first indication that he may stay at the
Lane despite issuing ‘want away' signals for most of the 2010-11 campaign.
Dimitar Berbatov had been linked with a possible move away from Old Trafford with a return to
Tottenham being cited as a real possibility.
Everybody understands and wants to see competition for places.
Two world class players for every position should surely be the pursuit of every top club.
This is hardly a revelation, there is nothing new about wanting two world class players for
every position but just like ideal communism it is a good idea in theory the problem being it
simply does not work in practice.
Whilst Wenger is rightly pursuing additional centre-backs, there is one player on our books who
is could do a job for us either this season failing that definitely next season (2012/13), that
player is Kyle Bartley.
Bartley is a tall, strong, ball-playing, commanding centre half. He is 20 years old and 6ft 3"
and English.
The USA MNT certainly packed more excitement into the last 20 minutes than it did in the first 70
against Mexico last night at The Linc, but in the end, sent the fans home happy and gave new head
coach Jurgen Klinsmann a fine result in his first match in charge.
A coach also loves when subs can come off the bench to contribute, as that's often a difficult task
for young players, but three combined for the USA's equalizer in the 73rd minute as Juan Agudelo
played Brek Shea who played Rogers for the tap in.
Where all things finally come to an end, it seems that Cesc Fabregas will finally make his move
back to his boyhood club Barcelona. After a few years of media manipulation, we can finally put one
of the biggest transfer sagas in the Premier League history to rest.
Although the proposed deal with Barcelona is lower than Arsenal hoped for (£35million + fees),
the Gunners can finally move on.

UPDATE III: Alvaro Fernandez will not be called up to the Uruguay national team, after
all. On Monday, Fernandez confirmed speculation that the injury he suffered in last week's Western
Conference semifinal would make it impossible for him to play in his country's World Cup qualifier
against Chile on Nov.
The bench is not a place where Lassana Diarra feels he should be and made his feelings known to
the office members of Real Madrid by stating that he wants to the Bernabeu.
At just 25-years old, Diarra is definitely an impressive player but after the arrival of German
midfielder, Sami Khedira, Jose Moruinho has not picked Diarra as one of the starting XI.
Napoli 3-0 Juventus ( Edinson Cavani hat trick) January 9, 2011- Naples, Italy- Italian Serie A
Juventus' poor start to 2011 continued as they were beaten 3-0 by Napoli at Stadio San Paolo. The
result came days after the Bianconeri had been beaten 4-1 by Parma. All three Cavani goals were

After being a regular starter for Borussia Moenchengldbach for the better part of two and a half
seasons, U.S. national team midfielder Michael Bradley days with the relegation-threatened German
club appear numbered.
Bradley has come off the bench in Moenchengladbach's past two matches, with rumors swirling
about clubs interested in his services.
We don't need no stinkin' ceremony.#5 - One thing that may or may not make you go "Hmm."I wondered
when was the last time a USMNT captain started on the bench and then ended up working much of the
game with another player still wearing his armband. Sadly, I imagine this answer is too hard to
find. But next time it happens, we will all be at the trivia-ready.
Agent Sturridge struck again on Sunday, scoring one of the goals that helped Bolton defeat
Arsenal and leave them three points behind Chelsea in third place.

It's one of the questions we've been asking since Studge went out on loan and started scoring
goals constantly – what to do with him when the loan spell is over?
He's played against the very best in the world for years, yet Ashley Cole will not have had a
harder afternoon's work than he did at Old Trafford last Sunday. For the last decade, against the
best the Premiership, European and International teams have had to offer in the shape of right
wingers, he has more often than not, dealt with consummately.
On a tough afternoon for US soccer supporters, the United States lost 4-0 to Spain in front of over
64,000 fans at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The United States started a mix of
veterans and squad players against an equally experimental Spain. Without Landon Donovan (illness)
or Carlos Bocanegra (rested), US coach Bob Bradley opted to leave regulars Michael Bradley, Steve
Cherundolo, and Clint Dempsey on the bench.
1. The US will be focused on winning tonight, as scooped by Soccer By Ives here. Good to
know! I was slightly worried they'd be more focused on losing or drawing.
Despite the US being content to play possession and let Guadeloupe pray for a counter
for 80 minutes, I don't really see how I can't take a perfect score for this one.
Manchester United young striker, Danny Welbeck, who went on loan last summer at Sunderland,
admits that he already received insurance from Sir Alex Ferguson in getting decent chances in
featuring for United on the upcoming season.
This rewards all came after Welbeck puts on consistently good performances with the Black Cats,
and the striker also admitted that his loan spell simply gave him the experience needed to improve
his quality and earned a chance at the Red Devils.
1. Given the success most of the team had against Guadeloupe on Tuesday particularly the back
line and center mids Bob Bradley will only make one change to this afternoon's lineup. Chris
Wondolowski will be benched, Clint Dempsey will pair with Jozy, and Alejandro Bedoya's recent
substitute performances will be rewarded with a start on the left wing.
Clarence Goodson was stalwart.
Once again with their backs against the wall, the United States down Panama 1-0 on a brilliant team
goal finished by Clint Dempsey. The Americans now move on to the Gold Cup final where they will
face archrivals Mexico.
Bob Bradley has a tough job, and it's a job most fans either love him or hate him for.
Bob Bradley had his many detractors for various reasons but one anti-Bradley sentiment centered on
his choice of one player - Jonathan Bornstein.
The 2006 MLS Rookie of the Year did well in his initial call-ups to the national team but overall
has had an up-and-down time of it with the United States, mostly down.

The demonstrative enthusiasm Jurgen Klinsmann brings to US Soccer was palpable last night from my
seat in the second row behind the United States bench at Lincoln Financial Field. For those who
felt that Bob Bradley was robotic and displayed little emotion and joy for the game, the first
match of the Klinsmann era at least showed that there will be some smiles and fun in the US camp.
Anton Peterlin earned a start for Walsall while Nottingham Forest's Robbie Findley and Southend
United's Jemal each saw time off the bench in England.
Nabil El Zhar has reached an agreement with Liverpool to allow him to be released from his
contract. He is now expected to join Levante.
The 24 year old joined from St Etienne in 2006 and scored one goal in his 32 appearances. El
Zhar was most liked by Benitez, who regularly gave him game time coming off the bench in the second
half.

American striker Herculez Gomez has developed a reputation in Mexico for stepping up late in
matches and delivering vital goals. Pachuca learned this when Gomez played for 'Los Tuzos' last
season, and on Friday night Gomez reminded Pachuca what it lost when it sold Gomez to Tecos earlier
this summer.
Full marks for passion lad! We're only two games into the new season and spectacular penalty miss
aside Suarez is stamping smiles on Liverpool fans faces everywhere. The Uruguayan got Liverpool's
second on Saturday after an Ramsey own goal. Dalglish set up his side with Suarez originally on
the bench and Dutchman Dirk Kuyt was chosen to start with big man Andy Carroll up front.
I know that the majority of our problems are defensive ones, and we actually looked OK going
forward yesterday, but I have to ask where is Chu Young Park? He was on the bench for the games
against Swansea City and Borussia Dortmund, but he did not get on as Marouane Chamakh came on as

After recently voicing out his irritation about being placed in a new position at Tottenham
Hotspurs, Rafael Van Der Vaart's future at the club could very well be in jeopardize.
This possibility occurred after Spurs' manager, Harry Redknapp, answered back to Van Der Vaart's
statement by stating that if the Dutchman is insisting to play on his preferred role than the
ex-Real Madrid player must compete with Jermaine Defoe for one position in the starting eleven.
I woke up this morning after another miserable sleep (my entire family has been sick all week) and
patiently waited for the alarm to sound at 0530 hours. I then proceeded into my methodical habits
for early morning Arsenal matches of slipping on whatever clothing was lying around, and
immediately making a strong pot of coffee.
