Sorry, Spurs fans. You'll have to wait yet another year to attempt a league double over Arsenal,
with the Gunners putting their neigbours to the sword with a superb 5-2 fightback at the Emirates
Stadium today.
The game continued the goal-crazy trend for games between the big sides in the Premier League
this season, with Arsenal turning on the style and showing great character after going two goals
down.
I am as Chelsea as they come, have supported this club from as early as I can remember to where I
am now (38 years old) and cannot stand Manchester United as much as they probably can't stand
Chelsea, but putting all feelings to one side, we have to acknowledge not only what he has achieved
in the game, but how he's done it.
Last night GiE and I, both based in Norwich, had the pleasure of watching a strong and keen
Arsenal Reserves side take on a young and significantly less experienced Norwich City Reserves
side, at Carrow Road last night.

Arsenal line-up was a welcome surprise: it was a mixture of young and promising talent
with experienced players who were in need of a game.
It's difficult to know where to start this week's column. On the face of it, a compelling
comeback from two goals down to keep our FA Cup hopes alive, followed by a point and a clean sheet
away from home should constitute a reasonably good week. Yet it doesn't feel like that at all. For
a start, we've put ourselves in a position now where, effectively, any draw represents two points
dropped.

Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg are said to be interested in signing Andrei Arshavin on loan
according to reports from the icy city. Of course this should not come as a surprise to many fans
who believe that the 30 year old is one of the club's recent worst signings.
Most of Arshavin's 27 appearances this season have been as a substitute, forcing Arsene Wenger
to rule him and his misfiring strike partners Yossi Benayoun and Marouane Chamakh to the reserve
team.
Looks like the Andrei Arshavin era at Arsenal is coming to an end as the Gunners have loaned
Arshavin to his old club, Zenit St. Petersburg, for the rest of the season, according to The London
Evening Standard.
Reporter James Olley tweeted Friday:
"Decision made. Arsenal agree to loan out Arshavin until the end of the season.
Well, that was quite a game. A poor start was followed by an absolute rout, and the only
disappointment by the end was that we didn't put six past spurs. Thoughts as follows:
* I'm not going to lie - I was bemused by the team selection when I first saw it. I was fully
expecting Gervinho to play, and was hoping to see the Ox as well.

5-2? What a day, and not just for the bookies. Hyperbole it may be, but I can
think of few more suitable games to be described as epic.
I admit it, I approached this game full of pessimism. We're not as bad as some make us out to
be but it is beyond dispute that we have declined, while our N17 neighbours have finally, finally
got themselves a decent squad.
Coming into the North London Derby, to say that Arsenal were in a funk would be an
understatement. After demolishing Blackburn Rovers 7-1, and needing a goal by on loan Thierry Henry
to rescue the win late against Sunderland, the fixture list turned to the Champions League and FA
Cup, where we all know what happened.
Chelsea supporters have lamented the departure of Yossi Benayoun to Arsenal on loan, admitting on
