Liverpool was announced as a 4-4-1-1, but the formation looked like a 5-4-1 to me, with the fullbacks often getting forward in support, in the first half.

I don't really know too much about either player that Liverpool and Everton signed on the transfer deadline day, but I'll give my comments based upon what I've read.

In my guess at a squad, I'm assuming Gerrard and Torres are fit enough to start, although, like over the weekend, it'll be a late decision.

There have been many critics of Jermaine Pennat – a good portion of them Liverpool fans – yet I have always failed to understand the reason for all the negativity.
