Drury placed six men's soccer players on the Daktronics All-Midwest Region first team announced
on Tuesday.
Members of the Panthers who were honored, after helping Drury to a 21-2-0 record and their first
Great Lakes Valley Conference championship and NCAA-II Tournament berth, were keeper Stephen
Conner, forwards Micah Whorton and Steve Wilczewski, midfielder Andrew Bordelon and defenders Ben

in the Heartland Conference. The game-winner was scored by Ben Taylor (Drury) on

The Professional Development League (PDL) opens yet again in the Springfield market this evening as
the Springfield Demize host Des Moines Menace. The game this evening will be played at 5:30 pm, a
special concession to the owners of the Menace which is the Kum and Go gas/food chain. The local
management and staff will be enjoying the game, it will be interesting to see how many of them
cheer for the Menace or the Demize.

The Drury Panthers men's and women's teams are each hosting a pair of teams today at Harrison
Stadium, offering three games each today. All of the games are at Harrison Stadium on Central
Avenue.

Mandi Little got the goal in the first 10 minutes (before I arrived) and both teams had several
opportunities that were denied by the wind, Spring touch still developing or solid defense.
