I crammed myself into a downtown bar last night to attend DC United's meet the coach night which featured man-of-the-hour Curt Onalfo. Easily over 100 fans packed an undersized bar to get a mere glimpse, beer or handshake with Onalfo, owner Will Chang, GM Kevin Payne, new assistant coach Ben Olsen and forward Jaime Moreno.

Former US National Team player and DC United midfielder Ben Olsen didn't stay out of the game for long. After announcing his retirement at the end of the season, Olsen now has his first assistant coaching job. It's no surprise that it's with his old club, DC United. New DC head coach Curt Onalfo announced the move alone with the hiring of the rest of his staff, Kris Kelderman and Mark Simpson.

We have a new goalkeeper! I am excited about Perkins coming back, but also sort of bummed we lost our first round draft pick. Now, it's archived footage, but because we had a few technical difficulties with the interwebs while at the Convention Center, we wanted to get you all the interviews Tony Limarzi conducted. Check out what GM Dave Kasper, Head Coach Curt Onalfo, Assistant Coach Mark Simpson and Assistant Coach Ben Olsen had to say about the return of Troy Perkins and the SuperDraft (among other things).
