Now before I begin, you have to realise this article is entirely based on the fact that England
have made a solid start to their Euro 2012 qualification support and should, emphasis on should,
comfortably qualify for the tournament in Poland/Ukraine. With Capello's decision back in the World
Cup not to name his team selection until a few hours before kickoff, treat this as a shot in the
dark at who will play in the Euro 2012.
The big freeze and the dismal failure of England's 2018 World Cup bid will not stop the Premier
League from rolling on. Its game week 16, time to forget the disappointment, put the heating on and
enjoy another weekend of Football.
Spurs enjoyed a much needed rest midweek and will be hoping to capitalise on any signs of a
Birmingham hangover following their Carling Cup exploits.

An early goal from the spot and a late goal via a deflection was enough to cancel Gabby
Agbonlahor's first half leveller and send us out of the Carling Cup, triggering disgraceful scenes
as City fans invaded the pitch to taunt Villa fans locked in the away section.
The fact we dominated the game is neither here nor there, derby games are a different kettle of
fish and it all comes down to failing to capitalise on opportunities and inexplicably slack
defending when pressure is applied.

Ben Foster spent years of his career biding his time, hoping for the opportunity to be
Manchester United's number one.
His opportunity came last season when Edwin Van der Sar was ruled out for months with injury and
dealing with the illness of his wife. Sadly, Foster blew his big opportunity.

BIRMINGHAM, England — Lee Bowyer's controversial late equaliser saw Birmingham City deny Premier
League leaders Manchester United victory in a 1-1 draw at St Andrews on Tuesday. It seemed Dimitar
Berbatov's 14th league goal of the season had given United, who started this late kick-off match a
point behind second-placed Manchester City, victory.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was left fuming after Birmingham City grabbed a late
equalizer this evening at St. Andrew's. Replays proved that there was a clear hand ball leading to
Lee Bowyer's eventual equalizer, and the late goal meant another two dropped points for the Red
Devils on their travels this season.
Lee Bowyer scored an 89th minute goal after the ball came loose to him following a goalmouth
scramble. The only hitch - it seemed to come off a handball by Birmingham City's towering striker
Nikola Zigic after he had fouled Rio Ferdinand. Both infractions were either not spotted or chosen
to be ignored by referee Lee Mason.
