Now before I begin, you have to realise this article is entirely based on the fact that England
have made a solid start to their Euro 2012 qualification support and should, emphasis on should,
comfortably qualify for the tournament in Poland/Ukraine. With Capello's decision back in the World
Cup not to name his team selection until a few hours before kickoff, treat this as a shot in the
dark at who will play in the Euro 2012.

Manchester United are willing to listen to offers in the region of £4 million for
goalkeeper Ben Foster, according to reports in The Sunday Mail.
Ben Foster has had a difficult Manchester United career, with a string of injuries keeping out
of the team before effectively blowing his big opportunity with the mistakes he made against the
likes of City and Sunderland.
Rumours are rife that the English keeper is set to leave United but Sir Alex Ferguson seems keep
on keeping him around.

German international keeper Manuel Neuer is reportedly a target of Sir Alex Ferguson has he
looks for a long term replacement for Edwin Van der Sar.
I was thinking of giving ol' Kenwyne an intro but I cannot be bother to sugar coat this.
He's shit, he's slow and generally a bit of a lumbering pillock. How Sunderland have managed to
fleece Stoke £8 million for this "player" I have no idea...
I saw Kenwyne play against Man Yoo last year in the 2-2 draw and I was amazed at what I saw.
This week's results see both a shack-up in top-side performance or lack thereof and in the
players in The Team of the Week. Numerous players are making their debut in this glorious
and highly prestigious squad. Despite Arsenal's loss, a player from their said made the cut, while
numerous other from clubs from the bottom-half of the table are included or fell just short of the
mark.
The pose that is now known as 'The Foster'
Manchester United have drawn up a stellar list of goalkeepers of whom they are to track as
possible replacements for Edwin Van Der Sar and Ben Foster.
Fiorentina's Sebastian Frey, Lyon's Hugo Lloris, Schalke 04's
Manuel Neuer, Celtic's Artur Boruc and Inter Milan's
Julio Cesar make up the five man shortlist with French shot stopper
'extraordinaire' Lloris said to be at the man at the top of the pile.
Fabio Capello's main headache is the lack of good English goalkeepers. Of the current top ten
clubs in the Premier League table, the only Englishman between the sticks is Birmingham City's
Joe Hart and he's only playing for Birmingham because he couldn't get a game for
Man City.
England have a number of good goalkeepers, but we don't have anyone who will definitely be
starting. While it's difficult to say who will be handed that alarmingly yellow away jersey (which
would really make a statement at your favorite local), Capello has narrowed down who's going to be
on the plane today.
Following a fine season for both club and country, timid boyish French national goalkeeper Hugo
Lloris has caught the attention of some of the world's top clubs, and Scottish indiepop band Belle
& Sebastian. Whether making heart-stopping saves, squinting wistfully up the field at the other,
more popular players or clutching the ball to him like Aloysius, Lloris is a man in demand.

He's made a lot of mistakes hasn't he.
Earlier today it was being reported that Sir Alex Ferguson is fully prepared to, "rebuild his
Manchester United side over the summer." ESPN Soccernet picked up this same line of thought, with a
headline of "Ferguson set to axe players." Obviously, this means that big change is in store for
United.
Manchester United is being linked with an ambitious player plus cash offer for Juventus and
Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. The 32 year old goalkeeper is reportedly viewed by Sir Alex
Ferguson as the perfect replacement to a much older Edwin van der Sar after the Dutchman hangs up
his boots. CaughtOffside reports that United is ready to make a formal offer for the
goalkeeper over the summer.

CSKA Moscow goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev seems set to move to a top English club after spending
seven years in the Russian capital. Since finishing third in Euro 2008, Akinfeev has been at the
top of many clubs' lists across Europe but only after his great performances in last season's
Champion's League have clubs begun to seriously pursue the 24-year-old.

So the England squad for the oddly-timed friendly against Hungary is now down to 20 players
after Darren Bent had to pull out due to an injury. This follows Paul Robinson deciding that
actually he can't be bothered to play for England anymore, and Wes Brown decided that actually he
probably shouldn't.
They are falling like flies Ben Foster is now out of the England game tomorrow, injured. The
Birmingham keeper will be replaced by youngsters Scott Loach and Blackburn's Frankie Fielding which
means it really is curtains for Robert Green and David James, and also means that my headline is
not actually accurate.

Your lowdown on England's surprise call-up Fabio Capello has drafted Blackburn's young goalkeeper
Frankie Fielding into his squad to face Hungary tomorrow evening. The 22-year-old has been brought
in along with fellow under 21 keeper Scott Loach following the retirement of Paul Robinson and
withdrawal of Ben Foster.
Yes, despite the Great Moan of 2010, the match did still go ahead. And despite massive fears
that no one would go, the attendance wasn't too shabby either at 72,024. If you for some reason had
better things to do than watch a friendly against Hungary here are the Official highlights:
1.
Bolton secured an exciting 2-2 draw in front of their home fans on Sunday as they came from
behind to grab a point against Birmingham City. The Blues held a 2-0 lead with just twenty minutes
remaining in the match, but goals from Kevin Davies and Robbie Blake frustrated Blues boss Alex
McLeish.
Birmingham's Roger Johnson got things going early on for the visitors as he scored in only the
fourth minute.
OK, two proper games coming up unusually, our opening game with Bulgaria is
being played on a Friday night, presumably because the England squad don't want to miss MK
Dons v Hartlepool in League 1 on Saturday lunchtime. Let's start with the squad:
Goalkeepers: Scott Carson (West Brom), Ben Foster (Birmingham), Joe Hart (Manchester City).
