After missing out on a Champions League spot thanks to their pesky fellow Londoners Chelsea,
Tottenham have decided to have a bit of a clear-out in preparation for next season's title
assault/battle for fourth place (the choice is yours).
Newcastle's 18 year-old goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has been training with the first team at the club's

Earlier in the week manager Harry Redknapp indicated that Heurelho Gomes could be allowed to
leave the club in January after confirming the decision to make Brad Friedel Tottenham's number one
for this season.
Several likely destinations are already being suggested and it seems that the erratic Brazilian
could be about to head home to link up with Corinthians.
As last season drew to a close it appeared that Spurs only hope for European football was the
Europa League that came with 5th place. Arguments raged as to whether or not this was a good thing
and it appeared Harry Redknapp and a number of his players didn't seem keen on the idea.
