Manchester United were strongly linked with a move for Holland's Wesley Sneijder, following great performances from the midfielder in the World Cup.

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti claimed that United had asked about the availability of the player, before Sneijder confirmed that he would be staying in Italy next season.

We got to the last 8 in Europe and KNOW that we should have progressed further
Nani and Valencia have proven they both have massive futures at the club
Darren Fletcher is now a world class midfielder.

Against Slovenia the tried and trusted counterattacking measures will not work.

This is a team that has a very well organized defense. With a win under their belts against Algeria, the Slovenians are not coming out to push upfield leaving their hindquarters exposed for a punishing counterattack.

With an opening weekend victory for them already under their belts, Wolves defender Jody Craddock and the rest of the squad are confident about what they can do in the Premier League this season.
