Ring the bells and wake the children -- the King of Old Trafford, Portuguese sensation Bebe, is
returning to Manchester United after his almost not completely terrible loan spell in Turkey. The
21-year-old Sir Alex Ferguson bought sight unseen for £7.4 million in August of 2010 has yet to be
unloaded and never spoken of again, so he will now rejoin Man United until that inevitably
happens.

For those unaware, it was the first leg of the Amway Canadian Championship Final last night,
with Vancouver Whitecaps pulling one back injury time to salvage a late 1-1 draw against Toronto
FC at the BC Palace that 'one' being this sublime slashed volley from Whitecaps' Eric Hassli, a man
who seems to specialise in this kind of thing.

Fiorentina have a pretty lousy season in Serie A, languishing down in the lower reaches of the
table, just six perilous points about the relegation zone. Morale is thin on the ground.
Last night, Fiorentina played second-bottom Novara and, after going 2-0 down after just thirty
minutes, coach Delio Rossi was forced into making a change; hauling off midfielder Adem Ljajic (the
name may ring bells for Man Utd fans) after just 32 minutes.
There are three recognized supporter clubs for the Atlanta Silverbacks. The West side 109, East
Side 309, and the new family friendly Band of Backs. Supporter organizations are vital parts of
every soccer club. They are usually the groups that are the most vocal, devoted, and willing to
travel to support their team at away matches.

Zlatan: Say it with flowers
You may remember not so very long ago when Zlatan Ibrahimovic, irked at being asked a perfectly
legitimate question by Sky Italia reporter Vera Spadini, flicked his headband at her then asked
'what the f**k she was looking at?
This one is to the tune of Away in a Manger: New year in a prison, in a cold wet bunk bed, The tax
dodging Redknapp, laid down his small head. His cell mate above him, looked down where he lay, The
tax dodging Redknapp, oh how he would pay. The prison bells ringing, the poor convict awakes, and
wheeler-dealer 'Arry, a shower before breakfast he takes.
Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Arsenal
For some reason, it had not dawned on me how tough our Champions League group would be until
last night. Maybe it was all the other stuff going on I simply hadn't thought much about it. Maybe
it was years of sailing through this part of the competition (though we made a meal of it last time
round).
Earlier in the week the England boss Fabio Capello criticised the Arsenal medical team over their
treatment of Jack Wilshere. Well today they have hit back claiming that Capello does not know what
he is talking about. Hang on a minute that sounds familiar. World Cup 2010 ring any bells Fabio? A
source at the [.
It has been a few days since I wrote anything so this post is going to be a bit of a mish-mash.
We are close to coming to the end of one of the biggest few weeks in Arsenal's recent history:
Champions League qualification completed, the squad remains to be bolstered and we need to make
sure we don't fall too far behind in the league.
"O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells; Rise up-for you the flag is flung-for you the
bugle trills; For you bouquets and ribbon'd wreaths-for you the shores a-crowding; For you they
call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning." - Walt Whitman Perfection,
according to Plato, is an abstract unachievable goal [.

Give this guy a peanut, for he has succesfully come up with a way to make women take their
clothes off in public without any of the tedious legal wrangling that tends to flare up...
The name 'Oqvist' ringing any bells? The Swedish hottie came in at number three in our
unashamedly sexist rundown of the ten hottest fillies at the Women's World Cup.
This year has been quite kind to Liverpool Football Club so far. They may have been knocked out
of the two trophies that they began 2011 with a chance of winning, but it's likely that only the
Europa League can be considered a genuine disappointment. The odds that they faced at Old Trafford
were insurmountable, and the visible improvement in the cohesion of the team in even this match was
the first sign of life stirring after a 2010 that most people connected with the club would sooner
forget.
It had been hoped that, when Halesowen Town of the Zamaretto League Premier Division entered
into administration in September of 2009 that their problems might finally be starting to come to
an end. The club exited administration after having been bought by the brothers Graham and Godfrey
Ingram (Godfrey was a former player with Luton Town, just in case the name is ringing any bells)
and the Supporters Trust, which had been boycotting thee club on account of the mismanagement of
previous owner Morrell Maison, cautiously ended the boycott of the club that had seen crowds slump
by 70% to only around the 100 mark.

In every young, talented footballer's tenure, there are smart career moves, and then there are
the occasional "WTF" moments. In the case of Karim Benzema's newest venture rapping on a new French
track, "Fais moi la passe"/"Let me pass" this is undoubtedly the latter.
