Liverpool has published their 2011/12 Premiership squad.
The squad contains only 19 players despite having an a maximum allocation of 25.

player criteria while the remainder must be home-grown.
Why Stoke are the window's big winners and Bolton the big losers, plus Arteta, Bellamy
and why I fear for Wales at Wembley
Stoke are the big winners of the transfer window, Bolton the big losers. Gary Cahill can now
leave the Reebok on a Bosman next summer, so holding out for £17million will hurt Bolton,
especially with their big debt.

Internationals. Qualifiers. Friendlies. Fun.
Three out of four ain't bad?
Hey, at least none of Liverpool's players came out of the first round of distractions with any
knocks they didn't go in with...
Bulgaria v. England
England kicked another puppy around to the cheers of the press and have now clinched a top two
finish in their group—first gets you into the Euros automatically, while runners-up get to head
to a playoff.
Why signing Bellamy proves Dalglish's absence from the game hasn't dulled his
instincts
When Kenny Dalglish returned to Anfield as manager in January, it was his 13-year sabbatical
from Premier League management that tended to dominate focus. Cut to eight months later, and that
obession over his ability to ‘relate' to the modern game not only seems irrelevant, it now
appears slightly silly.

Carroll, Craig and Coates on the bench: Stoke v LFC
The Liverpool team to face Stoke at the Britannia: Reina, Skrtel, Carragher, Agger, Enrique,
Henderson, Lucas, Adam, Downing, Kuyt, Suarez. And on the LFC bench: Doni, Carroll, Johnson, Maxi,
Spearing, Bellamy, Coates.
Forget Arteta, Crouch, Barton or Bellamy. Surely the transfer of all transfers this summer was
Brighton's signing of Valencia legend Vicente Rodriguez on a free transfer last week!
Gus Poyet is exactly right to call this signing a "major coup" for the club which already sit
top, and needless to say undefeated, after six games in their first season in the Championship
since 2006.
Liverpool's line up for tonights game against Spurs at White Hart Lane:

Subs: Doni, Kuyt, Robinson, Maxi, Spearing, Bellamy, Coates.

Match Preview: Brighton vs Liverpool
Liverpool have the perfect chance to get Sunday's horror show out of their system as they return
to their Carling Cup campaign with a trip to Brighton. The Reds haven't won a trophy since the 2006
FA Cup, and as such the Carling Cup has taken on a greater importance, a fact that is likely to be
reflected in Kenny Dalglish's team selection for the game.
