Zaccanti, alto, desgarbado y torpe marcador de punta derecho que hizo sus mejores años
futbolísticos con la camiseta de la Academia (1987-1994, 101 partidos y 8 goles), antes de pasar
por Huracán de Corrientes y terminar en Belgrano (1997).
El San Lorenzo de Caruso va invicto pero Banfield le empató (1-1) sobre la hora y le quitó dos
puntos vitales en su carrera por la permanencia. El Boca de Riquelme dejó dos puntos y la punta
libre para Newells (que juega vs Arsenal). Zubeldía pone a los pibes de Racing y suma puntos (3-1
a San Martín, donde renunció el DT Garnero).
12.02.2012 - Sin goles (0-0) Racing y Tigre empataron en Avellaneda por la 1º fecha del
Torneo Clausura 2012 Crucero Gral. Belgrano.
Después de una escalofriante recepción a Alfio Basile, Racing salió de líneas adelantadas y

Hace cuatro años, más precisamente desde el 3 de julio de 2007, que los simpatizantes visitantes
no podían ir a una cancha ajena. Esta tarde en la AFA, mediante Ricardo Casal (ministro de
Seguridad y Justicia de Buenos Aires) y Julio Grondona, Presidente de la entidad, se determinó la

Every supporter reacts to their team's successes and failures in different ways. Some are loud,
outgoing, boisterous folk who can barely stay seated throughout an entire match. Others are laid
back and quiet, more comfortable beating themselves up rather than a piece of furniture. Of course,
there is no right or wrong way to support your club.
We've been focusing recently on international football with the recently completed Gold Cup and
soon-to-begin Copa América, but of course our focus always on club football. For years, we've been
known for our weekly rankings of clubs around the world.
In the past week or so, we have seen the conclusion of the 2010-11 season as Santos defeated
Peñarol to win the 2011 Copa Libertadores and book its ticket to the 2011 Club World Cup.

Argentine giants River Plate are enduring the bleakest period in its 110 year existence after
succumbing to what seemed nothing more than an improbable assumption, relegation to the second tier
of their domestic game.
I am not a fan of the team, but know about football, so: How in the world can it be that River
Plate, RIVER PLATE, has been relegated!?!?!!? After some meager years, this last tie 1-1 against
Belgrano sealed the Argentinean giants' darkest chapter.River Plate is one of the most legendary
clubs in the world.
There was tears, riots and despair as Argentine side River Plate were relegated
to the second tier of Argentine football for the first time in their 110 year history, as Belgrano
beat them 3-1 on aggregate. However in disgraceful scenes the Belgrano players were attacked by
River Plate fans as they fleed the pitch.

Are you a River Plate fan? Does the thought of watching your team be relegated to your country's
second division for the first time in their 110 year history still make you incredibly sad?
Why not articulate your pain by throwing objects at your own players after the decisive 1-1
relegation play-off draw against Belgrano, invading the pitch, then starting a riot outside the
stadium of such severity that police are forced to employ water cannons to break it up and at least
twenty-five of their number end up in hospital?
River Plate will be playing in the second tier "Nacional B" next season
So the unthinkable has happened in Argentina as record champions River Plate, who have won the
domestic league on 33 occasions, finally face up to the grim reality of second division football
next season. This is because River was forced to meet Belgrano de Cordoba in a two match
promotion/relegation play-off, which they lost 3-1 on aggregate, having ended the 2010-11 season
with the fourth worst average points record over the last three seasons.

A lo largo del campeonato, River no mostró muchas veces el afán por ir a buscar más de un gol.
De hecho, sólo con Huracán y Newell's, los dos últimos del campeonato, pudo conseguirlo. Por
eso, esta tarde contra Belgrano tenía una difícil tarea, intentar hacer lo que no pudo en estos
últimos seis meses: salir a buscar un partido.

an unforgettable day for all fans of Argentine football. A 1-1 home draw against Belgrano de
Córdoba at "El Monumental" stadium sealed a 1-3 aggregate defeat for River Plate and condemned
them to the first relegation of their entire 110 year history.
The Monumental Stadium becomes a giant mausoleum as River Plate fail to beat Belgrano and are
relegated after 110 years. There was a flicker of hope when Mariano Pavone opened the scoring but
was quickly snuffed out with Guillermo Farre's equalizer for the visitors. Pavone later on
agonizingly missed a penalty.

No hubo milagro para Los Millonarios. River Plate consumó el primer descenso de categoría de
su historia al no ser capaz de superar la promoción contra el Belgrano. Pavone dio esperanzas a
los locales con un tanto en la primera parte, pero un gol de Farré supuso la sentencia para
River.
Se le hizo insuperable al equipo riverplatense el resultado de la ida.

pesadilla donde perdió dos goles por cero ante Belgrano, hoy tienen la obligación de por lo menos
empatar el marcador global para mantener la división
El partido dará inicio a las trece horas de la ciudad de México y aparentemente ninguna
televisora mexicana tiene interés en transmitir este partido, habrá que buscar links por internet

the pitch and start an altercation with the players and push and shove one of them. They take off
