Anderlecht won the Belgian Jupiler League in 2011-12
It is traditional at this time of year for Stoppage Time International Football Blog to
review those leagues that have finished and this year is no exception. In the first of four parts
we look at ten of Europe's top flight championships ranging from Albania to Denmark.
Anderlecht defender Marcin Wasilewski hit STVV's Peter Delorge while charging towards goal on a
corner during Sunday's 2-2 Belgian Jupiler League draw. The blow left Delorge on the ground with a
concussion and even though it happened right in front of the ref, Wasilewski wasn't booked for
it.

The first classic of the season took place in the Belgian Jupiler League this weekend with Club
Brugge and Anderlecht fighting it out on Matchday 5 of the 2011-12 campaign.
Despite being reduced to ten men in the 74th minute when goalkeeper Colin Coosemans was sent off
for a second bookable offence it was the Flanders side who took the lead with just five minutes
remaining after Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe struck from the penalty spot.

week. He was then rested as Anderlecht coasted to a 2-0 win away to KV Kortrijk.
