After spending 4 hours glued to my 32" LCD to watch 2 absolutely dismaying performances by the Portuguese U21 and A teams I got all the joy kicked out of me. Had to drag my sorry ass to bed for a 4am start the next morning followed by a 2500Km car trip. I just couldn't get myself behind a keyboard and type up anything that wouldn't sound absolutely cataclysmic.

The Road to Euro 2012 continues on Tuesday...

Euro 2012 qualifying continues tomorrow (Tuesday, September 7) after the most countries kicked off their qualification campaign last Friday. And even though we are two years away from the final tournament and its only matchday 2- some countries are already under pressure to get results.

I haven't seen a full summary of how Liverpool players fared during the international break (I admittedly might not be looking hard enough, but I'm also sick of the same post atop the page for almost a week), so here's a short one.
