Now updated after the Ukraine and Belarus games (and some 'interesting' feedback) below is the
squad we think Don Fabio should take to South Africa, with reason for inclusion - and
exclusion...
Who should go...
Goalkeepers
David James - Has been first choice for a while now, and we are yet to find a
better alternative
Rob Green - He is the closest we have to a better alternative.

Its is a critical week for Liverpool with games against Sunderland, Lyon and Manchester United
and they will play at least the first game without stars Steven Gerrard AND Fernando Torres, who
both have groin problems.
What upset Rafa the most was not only did his two best players pick up the injuries on
international duty, but that they both stayed on with their respective countries, wrecking any
hopes Liverpool had of treating them at Melwood and getting them fit for today's trip to
Sunderland.

Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres have both been ruled out of Liverpool's trip to Sunderland on
Saturday because of injuries picked up on international duty.
Gerrard, Liverpool's captain, suffered a groin injury in England's World Cup defeat to Ukraine last
weekend and limped out of training two days later, subsequently missing the home win against
Belarus.

Current Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham will once again join Italian Serie A side AC Milan
in the winter transfer window. He will join the club in January and hopes to be in the 2010 World

According to English national team coach Fabio Capello, they are both undeserving.
In his eyes, David Beckham didn't deserve to be player of the game as the second-half substitute of
a 3-0 win against Belarus.
And Barack Obama didn't deserve to win the Nobel Peace Prize after being in office less than a
year.

BFFs Toni Terry (John Terry) and Abigail Clancy (Peter Crouch) hit up the England v Belarus game
at Wembley last night. As you can see, they went for the smart-casual look.
Normally, we take great delight in seeing WAGs over-dress for events like football matches.
Victoria Beckham has forged a wonderful reputation for being insanely OTT in attire to go and watch
a game and we fully support this.

As coaching goes, Fabio Capello and Diego Maradona could not be more different. In short one is
brilliant, the other is not. However, they do have quite a few similarities:
- Both are hated by many.
- Both were accomplished footballers.
- Both love spas.
- Both draw the consistent ire of the Italian tax authorities.

England last night completed their World Cup qualifying campaign with a fairly routine 3 - 0 win
over Belarus at Wembley, thanks to a brace from giant England striker Peter Crouch and a goal from
diminutive winger Shaun Wright-Phillips. An Excellent campaign - in which England have won nine of
their 10 qualifying games - has seen the squad reach the World Cup finals in some style.

1. Peter Crouch's gangly legs are not supposed to be involved in six-yard tap-ins. They were made
for bicycle kicks. 2. David Beckham has brown hair, a ginger moustache and a black beard. What is
that all about? 3. Twin, dwarf, right-footed wingers is probably not a viable tactical option
against decent opposition.

An ulterior motive for England keeper's red card? Last time Robert Green faced Belarus it put paid
to his World Cup dream. The England goalkeeper handed the opposition a goal when he injured himself

harm's way [.

International breaks are the bane of a manager's life and never more was that evident in the

Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt all picked up injuries to some degree and with a
crucial run of fixtures set to begin this Saturday, it goes without saying that all three men will
